Prompt: Levi Ackerman, along with his two friends from the Underground Furlan Church and Isabel Magnolia, were "recruited" by Erwin Smith into the survey corps following the absolving of their crimes. After Furlan and Isabel turn in for the night, Levi takes in the atmosphere of the surface while he enjoys some peace and quiet. However, a certain loudmouth genius decides to issue him a less than formal introduction.

Levi sat under the stars, staring up at the moon for what felt like hours. After living in the Underground for his entire life, the feeling of fresh air filling his lungs and the visual of the admittedly beautiful moon shining in the sky was something he was quickly becoming used to. Still, he had a job to do and that was to kill Commander Erwin Smith. He had a job to do but that job was not gonna be an easy one, not by a long shot. Thankfully he had his allies, his friends Furlan and Isabel to aid in that mission but even with help, how the hell was he supposed to eliminate such a powerful man? It was bound to be difficult even in theory but in practicality, finding a method to getting Erwin alone to do the deed was going to be borderline impossible. Deciding to turn in for the night as well, Levi began to stand up and just when he turned around, his eyes met with the eyes of one of Erwin's allies who was trying their damnedest not to be spotted but alas, that plan failed. Levi kept a straight face to avoid any incidents, but he kept on his toes just in case anything was to happen. The woman notices that she had been made so she raised her hands in an act of surrender before stepping out further into view, allowing the moonlight to illuminate her entire figure.

"Any reason you're trying to spy on me Four Eyes?" Levi asked bluntly as the woman in front of him awkwardly rubbed the back of their neck and chuckled, trying her best to act natural.

"Nope! No reason!" She replied as a blush covered her cheeks. Levi examined her features and he had to admit, she seemed rather capable if also a bit on the wild side. She was easily half a foot taller than he was at least, but that just made her a bigger target in his eyes. He watched her step closer and closer towards him, feeling more tense with every impact of her boots meeting the floor.

"What are you doing here anyways? I thought all of you shitheads would have turned in for the night." Levi said as she simply laughed at his bold remark towards the Corps. She found his sternness amusing, even if it was rooted in ignorance. Poor man had no idea just who he was about to have a conversation with.

"Well I wanted to introduce myself to ya of course! I'm Hanji Zoë, lead researcher of the Survey Corps! Your name's Levi, right?" She asked as Levi turned around to face away from her, electing to stare back up at the sky. He wished she would just go away, but go away was not something on her agenda for the night. Even though he ignored her question, she stood behind him and waited for an answer which confused him. He was giving her the cold shoulder, but she wasn't gonna leave without a conversation. Unfortunately, his only option now was to play along.

"It is. Say, you were out there during training today weren't you? I remember your face." Levi said as Hanji blushed again. She had no idea what was happening to her or why she felt so nervous or flustered around him but those negative feelings were quickly becoming overwhelmed by her desire to get to know Levi better.

"Yep! I saw what you did to those practice targets. Really good stuff! I was told you never trained as a member of the Cadet Corps. Care to tell me how you got so good at operating ODM gear?" She asked enthusiastically, stepping closer to him as she did so. Levi decided to play it cool for now, so he welcomed her actions as she didn't seem to be planning to inflict any harm unto him. Even if she did, he was convinced that he had what it took to take her down no problem. "Does it matter? If I can use ODM gear as well as anybody else, then the methods of which I learned to use them shouldn't matter, right?"
