3rd Person POV:

During Asia's welcoming party to the ORC

Inside the ORC Clubroom

Issei watched as the group welcomed the blonde girl, Asia, into their fold. Issei stepped away from the group and passed by the window. As Issei passed by the window, he felt as though he was being observed. In his peripheral vision, Issei could see a strange-looking bird, with bright yellow, orange, and red plumage. It seemed to follow his movement.

Issei: "(Hm?)" Issei thought as he made his way toward the group again. "(That's odd, I've never seen a bird like that. It would also seem to be observing the clubroom... This isn't a normal bird, is it?

Issei looked around at the members of the Occult Research Club, they had just rescued Asia the night before and were celebrating her enrollment at Kuoh Academy and her entrance into the ORC. There was a cake that was cut and served, tea was made and enjoyed by the group. Issei continued to have the feeling of being observed, however without enough proof or reason, he wouldn't bring it up to any of the others. The last thing he wanted was to induce panic or direct attention toward the strange animal perched on the tree outside.

Issei enjoyed a small slice of cake and a cup of tea, before bidding farewells to everyone and making his way back to his apartment. On his way out of the Old Schoolhouse, Issei looked up at the branch where the strange bird still sat, paying him no attention.

Issei: "(Well, at least I know that I'm not the target of observation for whatever that bird is.)" Issei thought to himself before continuing to walk off of Kuoh Academy's campus. "(I suppose for now, I will relax while I can. I have a feeling that things will begin to start moving quickly here soon.)" 

Issei continued to walk, taking a stroll around the campus once again, hoping to notice the presence or catch a view of another of those strange birds. While walking, he didn't find any, it seems that was a unique encounter with such an animal. Eventually, having deemed it to be the only bird of such species in the area, Issei made his way off the campus and towards his apartment.

After walking for a while, Issei came across an ice cream stand. Deciding to buy during his walk.  a small ice cream cone and continue on his way home. Issei enjoyed his ice cream as he walked when, all of a sudden,  his phone rang.

Taking out his phone and looking at the Caller ID, Issei chose to answer the call.

Issei: <Chairman Sakayanagi, to what do I owe the pleasure?>
