3rd Person POV:

In the School courtyard; with Issei and Koneko

Issei held Koneko, as he looked at her wounds. Issei had expected a retaliatory move from Riser, so this was not a surprise for him. Looking around for the cause, recalling what Rias had explained to him during their first operation, together as a Club, that magical prowess was held by the 'Queen'. Looking around, he spotted her, looking down at him as she floated in the air.

Issei: "Riser's Queen, Yubelluna, right?" Issei said, still gently cradling Koneko's small body in his arms as he looked up at the purple-haired woman Riser had, essentially, consensually assaulted in front of him during their first meeting.

Koneko: "I'm sorry..." Koneko said, weakly, causing Issei to look back at her, "I wanted... to serve Buchou even more..."

Issei: "I know..." Issei responded quietly. "(She won't die, I assume there's a separate spot that the 'out' pieces go to.)" Issei reasoned to himself. "(If they allowed it to be fatal it would be ridiculous.)"

As Issei was watching Koneko, who had tears in her eyes, her body began to glow blue and then disappate within his arms. As Koneko faded away, Yubelluna began to chuckle to herself.

Yubelluna: "(That boy should be destroyed. This will be easy.)" Yubelluna thought as she chuckled to herself

3rd Person POV:

Grayfia: "One of Lady Rias' Rooks, has retired." Grayfia's voice announced, able to be heard throughout the battlefield.

Issei: "Well... this is unfortunate. Is she dead?" Issei asked, standing up and brushing off his clothes. "Come down here, if you dare! Face me!" Issei shouted, trying to get his voice to reach Yubelluna, who still floated in the air. 

Rias: <Calm down Issei. When someone can no longer fight, they are transported to a different location where they are treated. Koneko is not dead. Keep your wits about you.>

Issei: "(Like I thought... though Rias seems to be taking it hard. I can hear it in her voice.)" Issei thought.  <But...> Issei spoke back, hoping that it would engage Yubelluna this time.
