Lost Daughter

Thirteen

Stefan looked at Holly as she slept. He knew that she was stressing out and he has a plan. He was going to take her out of town to clear her mind. Kissing her head, Stefan got out of bed as Thomas walked in. "If you need me, I'll be with Tyler. Caroline told our new wolf friend about us. Now I need to go calm him down."

"Is that all?"

"Holly is needed at home. John is there waiting. He wants to tell her the truth.." a knock was heard causing Thomas to answer it as Stefan put his pants and shirt on. "Stefan!"

Stefan ran downstairs as Holly raised up wondering why she was getting woke up this early after last night.

"I need to speak to Holly here as she has been avoiding home. Which I don't know why, but Jenna does want her home."

"One, you aren't the boss of me. Two, why are you here? And three, I had plans on going home to Jenna and Jeremy. They are still my brother and aunt. Despite who my real father is."

"See, that's why I came here. To tell you how you became mine and Isobel's."

The blonde appeared beside Stefan with glare. "Start talking."

"A 500 year old witch came to us when Isobel was pregnant with Elena." John started. "She told us that she has been searching for someone to carry this baby that was her dear friends. Her father doesn't know that she was spelled out of the womb. I questioned it because of how long it's been, but she told us that she had it to where Klaus could find his daughter and the doppelgänger . Which is Elena. The witch set you with us for him to find you two better."

Holly couldn't believe what she heard. "I was placed inside Isobel so the doppelgänger could be found?" John nodded. "Now, I'm pissed and I hope to god that witch is dead..."

"She is. She died after finding us." He tells her. "Miranda and Grayson did a good job at raising you. Something I couldn't."

"Klaus may be my father, but my parents will forever be my parents." She tells him. "What's the plan?"

"We're going to find a way to protect our family, Holly. You may be a Mikaelson, but you were raised as a Gilbert. We will find a way to protect them."

Holly watched him walk away as she looked at Stefan confused on what just happened. "Protect this family or Elena?" She questioned. "I feel like he is proving something to Elena and only her as I was never their's."

"But to Elena and Jeremy, you are their sister no matter what." He tells her. "But to me, you are the woman that I will marry one day. I love you, Holly Gilbert-Mikaelson."

"I love you too." She says kissing him. "Let's go watch a movie."

"Sure."

Shutting the door behind her, Holly hopped on Stefan's back causing him to laugh. They never felt like they were being watched as the couple got in the car. It was them and only them.
