The next day, Holly was enjoying her time with Stefan when she heard a knock. Looking at Stefan, he went to answer the door. "I'm here to talk to my niece."

"Why?"

"Because I have a way to save your sister."

Holly looked at Stefan. "Stefan...."

"Hey, it's going to be okay. I know you are blaming yourself because of how you two came to be and why, but it's not your fault even Elena will tell you that." He tells her. "Just because of what we learned..."

"What did you two learn?"

"That I was put inside Isobel for Elena to be found. I don't want to believe that because that is my sister. We aren't by blood, but she still is my sister as well as Jeremy being my brother. I know Klaus is my dad, but...I don't want anyone thinking that I'm the reason that my sister was found." She tells him. "Elijah, if you know something, please reassure me."

"The witch that switched you from your mother's womb knew there would be another doppelganger. She was helping your father out as she was in love with him, but he could never love her back. Your mother was the only woman for him and she knew that." Elijah tells her. "You were sent to the next doppelganger because it was her choice and a way to get back at Klaus for not loving her."

"So I'm just a girl who was taken because her mother was killed, a psycho bitch wanted revenged and made it a 500 year issue because my dad wouldn't fall for her or leave my mom?" Elijah nodded. "I'm glad she's dead. Who killed her?"

After Elijah told them everything and left, Holly knew she will find a way to prove to her dad that her sister doesn't need to die. "Baby?"

"I think there is something not right about this ritual." She tells him. "Katherine died and turned because she wasn't ready to die and then there is Elena. I think she doesn't need to die." Walking to some of the things that Elijah gave her from her parents, she pulled out a book. "My mom wrote this while she was carrying me. She stated... "I am helping Klaus find a way to break the curse. Yes, two of the beings will have to die. Yet, when he told me about Tatia and how Elijah killed her, it got me thinking. If her blood was use to turn them into vampires, then wouldn't her blood be what took his other half away."

"You think...."

"I think I have to finish what she was saying. Even though I might lose my sister because of it. Then again, Bonnie is doing some digging too."

"Now, are you going to stop blaming yourself?" She laughed as Stefan kissed her. "I love you, Holly."

"I love you too. Daddy will be coming to Mystic Falls soon." She looked at the picture of her parents. "And when it's time, I will help both sides. My dad to see that Elena may need to be alive, but I have to have someone who knows more about this ritual than Elijah. Someone who has helped him for a long time."

"And we will. Just let him think Elena did die because like we know, Bonnie is looking and she may be on to something."

"I have a bad feeling someone has to die in her place." She tells him pulling out a grimoire. "Time to look in mom's grimoire and see what I can find. If I'm right, I know who will take her place and that is going to hurt."

Stefan put his arms around her and kissed her head. "I'm going to be right there with you." He tells her. "Wherever you go, I will be right there." He showed the ring causing her to look at him. "I love you, Holly Mikaelson-Gilbert."
