Stefan looked at Holly as she slept. He couldn't believe she was a tribrid. "Stefan?" He looked at his brother. "Did you find out what she truly is?"

"Yes. Whoever her father is, he carried a werewolf side and a witch side, but I think she also carried vampire blood this whole time." Stefan tells him. "I've never noticed before, but every time I go to give her blood she had done healed. I just thought it was my blood doing it, but she would have already healed before she started drinking."

"Who the hell is her father?" He asked. "Because this is getting out of hand."

"You think?" A voice behind them said causing them to look at her. "Katherine knows my father and yet, she won't give me an answer. Besides one. I think she killed my mother." Holly went over to Stefan and kissed his cheek. "I'm hungry and I'm going to fix us brunch."

"I'll be right there." He tells her as she walked away to fix breakfast. "If Mason knows something we need answers."

Thomas watched him walk away. He sighed as he had to put his and Elena's plan in action. Fake fighting.

"Do we have to be here?" Holly asked Stefan.

"No, but you promised Caroline that you would be here." He tells her. "Plus, she wants to talk about the wedding."

Hearing the word wedding had Holly going to Caroline causing Stefan to laugh as this was going to be the life he wanted. Having Holly Gilbert as his wife, having their best friend over because he already accepted that Caroline will be over no matter what because of Holly. "Daydreaming?" He looked at Elena. "Trust me, Holly does that sometimes and that's how I knew."

"Yeah. Just picturing my life with Holly."

Elena smiled. "Listen, I'm sorry for how I acted in the beginning when we first met. I should have dropped it knowing you truly wanted Holly before we found out about soulmates. You've made her happy when I couldn't." She tells him. "Keep making my sister happy."

Stefan nodded as he wondered why Elena decided to apologize. He saw Thomas and decided to talk to his brother. "Okay, what is going on between you and Elena. I know the two of you love each other, but what really is the problem."

"Katherine and Caroline is helping her because the girl is terrified of Katherine."

Stefan looked to see Holly glaring at Thomas. "I think she wants to kill you." Damon joined in the group. "What?'

"Holly?" She looked at Elena. "Don't worry about Thomas and I."

"Yeah. I have to because..."

"I don't want Stefan. I wanted to speak to you for a long time about the way I acted." She says. "Can we go talk about it?"

Holly nodded as the sisters walked away from the gazebo. Stefan, Thomas, and Damon looked and wondered what was up, but if Elena apologized to Stefan then that's what she is doing.

"Elena, I don't know what changed, but I forgive you. I'm happy you saw what happened through the years."

Elena hugged her just as Caroline arrived. "We have a problem." She tells them.

"What?"

"Mom is going to kill Stefan, Thomas and Damon."

Holly couldn't believe what she heard. Grabbing Elena, she followed her best friend just for them to run into Mason. "Where do you three think you're going?"

"You don't move, I will kill you myself, Mason." Holly says with her eyes glowing yellow causing Mason to swallow hard. "Now move!"

Mason moved as he was not pissing off the first tribrid. He was definitely not pissing off the girl's father.

After saving them, Stefan looked at Holly as she was stripping out of her clothes. He locked the door and walked over to the woman who continues to steal his heart without even trying. Feeling arms around her, the blonde turned around to look at the man that she will be marrying one day. Leaning in, Stefan kissed her without saying a word.

Holding onto him, Stefan picked her up and carried her to their bed. Looking up at him, Holly smiled. "I love you."

"I love you." He says. "Thank you for saving me again."

"And I will continue to do so for a very long time."

"So will I."

Holly smiled as he kissed her. A knock on the door caused them to stop. "Holly, Caroline is here and I think she needs you at the moment." Thomas tells them.

"What's wrong?" Stefan asked.

"What Liz said."

Holly looked at him. "Stefan..."

"She needs you at the moment." He tells her. "Grab my shirt and go to her. I'll run us a hot bath and we can enjoy the rest of the night."

"I won't be long. I love you."

"I love you."

He watched her grab his shirt and threw it on and a pair of shorts. Stefan smiled as she ran out of the room to the guest room where Caroline was. Thomas looked at his brother. "You..."

"Thomas, Caroline and Holly were always there for one another. I'm not going to separate them. When one needs the other, they will be there. Just like I know Holly will be there for me. I'm not playing pick me." Stefan tells him. "Might want to rethink things through."

Thomas watched Stefan go to the bathroom and start grabbing things for him and Holly. Walking away, Thomas wondered what his brother meant. What do you mean I have to rethink things through, Stefan?
