The ceremony

Elizabeth and I finally arrived too the ceremony. While we were making our way to where we were meant to stand, I couldn't help but notice someone fighting with two officers over a ship. The man looked familiar, but I couldn't quite put a face to them. However, I did realize how the two men guarding the ship got distracted by arguing with each other, letting the other man just slip on by to get onboard the ship.

The day wasn't the coldest in fact it was quite hot. I looked over to Elizabeth to see her fanning herself quickly. "Are you ok?" I questioned her. "Yea it's just really hot out here" She replied. "Are you sure cause, you don't look too well" She started sweating profusely. "Yes, I'm fine, now can we leave it" She snapped back. Okay then. We watched as the solders started making their way to the sides before they raised their swords up creating a tunnel for Norrington. When Norrington came out, our father was there waiting for him to officially make him Commadore.

I looked back over to El and realized that she was looking not only sick but uncomfortable. "Are you a thousand precent sure that you're feeling ok. You really don't look ok" I questioned. "Yes, I'm fine now can we please just watch the ceremony" She pleaded. After everything was done, Norrington came over to Elizabeth and I. Norrington looked at me with sorrowful eyes. Why, I'm not quite sure. "May I have this moment?" He said to Elizabeth. I watched as the two of them walked off.

I decided that I didn't need to stick around much longer so I went down to the dock to see if I could catch the stranger who "Commandeered" The ship. When walking down I still saw the two men going at each other. I honestly thought this was perfect time to talk to the two of them.

"Good day gentlemen. What might the two of you be doing?" I asked. "Oh, Sorry M'lady we were just having a conversation about a ship" They replied. "A conversation or an argument. And what ship might you two have been talking about?" They looked at me like I was crazy. Almost as if a girl like me should be asking about ships. "Oh, we were talking about the Black Pearl. We heard her sails are as black as the night and now she doesn't roam these waters anymore" I knew the tales of the Black Pearl, why, I was even aboard that vessel. However, before I was even able to put any input into the conversation the other soldier pipped up. "What are you talking about? The Pearl still is around. I've seen it." That I highly doubt. For if he did see the pearl. Low chance he would still be standing here.

As I let the two men argue a bit more, I heard a splash and them someone yell. "Elizabeth!" I looked up and realized it was Norrington yelling. This led me to one conclusion. Elizabeth fell. Before I could even think about doing anything I was a wave of brown zoom by and jump into the water. I hurriedly ran over to the side to make sure they both got out of the water in time.

I saw the man come out of the water holding my sister in his arms. Although I didn't see his face, I was glad he saved my sister. The two soldiers finally realized what was happening and came over to help. "Shes not breathing" One of them said. "Then do something you idiots don't just stand there!" even though I was in fact just standing there. Suddenly the stranger grabs a knife, and cuts open El's corset allowing her to let out a gasp and spit out some of the salt water she inhaled.

"I never would have thought of that" One of the solders said. Well obviously, it's because you're not the brightest bulb of the bunch. "Well obviously you lads have never been to Singapore" The man stated. Something about his voice was oddly familiar. I just could not figure out why he sounded so familiar

I realized that Els necklace is on full display now for all eyes to see. The man realized it to. "Where did you get this?" He questioned. Before anyone could answer Norrington came up and had the man pulled to his feet. It was then that I got a good look at his face.

I was in disbelief. Standing right there was my brother who I thought was dead. I didn't have any words to say.  As Jack looked up, he saw me and looked me dead in the eyes. He had a mixture of shock, and relief written all over his face. Our Father ran down the staircase looking like a ghost. "Elizabeth! Are you all, right?" He took off his jacket and put it around Elizabeths shoulders. He then looked at me with confusion. I couldn't imagine the face I was giving him right now. "Yes, Yes, I'm fine. Commodore Norrington, do you intend to kill my rescuer?

Norrington looked at Elizabeht in disbelief before realizing he was in the wrong. "I believe thanks are in order." Norrington told Jack. While they were shaking hands, I saw something in Norrington's eyes. He grabbed Jacks wrist and lifted his sleeve showing the sparrow tattoo. I never told anyone that I have the same tattoo on the same wrist.

"Had a brush-up with the East India trading Company, did you

"Had a brush-up with the East India trading Company, did you... Pirate?" Norrington questioned. "Can you just leave him alone he did nothing but save El." I tried pleading with Norrington. Did it work? No. "Well, well, well. Jack Sparrow isn't it" I swear this man won't give up. "Captain Jack Sparrow. If you, please." He replied. "I don't see your ship. Captain." I was getting fed up with this whole spiel. "He said he'd come to commandeer one." You imbecile if you don't just your mouth I swear.

"These are his, sir" I watched as one of the solders hand off Jacks belongings to Norrington. As Norrington was going through Jacks stuff, I looked up to him realizing that he had a plan. Norrington took Jack sword examining it. "I half expected it to be made of wood." he said. "You've got a pistol with only one shot, a compass that doesn't point north, and no ship. You are without a doubt the worst pirate I have ever heard of. " Only Jack and I knew the real reason why there was only one bullet and why the compass never pointed north.

"Ahh but you have heard of me" Jack replies which makes me smirk. "Commodore, I must protest. Pirate or not, this man saved my life" Elizabeth said. Honestly forgot she was here. "One good deed is not enough to redeem a man of a lifetime of wickedness" Norrington answered with. "But still he saved Elizabeths life. Would you rather have him not have done anything and possibly end up with a dead Elizabeth because I sure wouldn't have wanted that" I quickly replied. I walked over closer to Jack since I had a hint at what his plan was.

Suddenly like a flash Jack has me with his chains wrapped around my neck. "Play along little sister I need to get out of here" Jack said "Wouldn't have it any other way" I responded. "Commodore Norrington... My pistol and belt, please" Jack questioned. Norrington, Elizabeth, and my father looked at me in fear. They didn't know any better and though that Jack was going to end my life right there. Norrington got ahold of Jacks belonging and handed them over to me. "Elliana, is it?" He questioned "Its Miss Swann to you, but you should let me go this instant" I played along. It reminds me of when Jack and I would put on skits to get what we wanted from our old crew. "Well, them... Miss Swann, if you'll be so kind?" I grabbed Jack items and helped him put them back on. I tried giving a mad face to the best of my abilities though this whole situation was a bit funny.

Jack shoved me away and fired his pistol. He gets launched up into the air but doesn't make it too far before he falls back down to the ground. Idiot I thought to myself. "On his heels! Gillette, bring a squad down from the fort!" Norrington yells out orders "Elliana, are you..." "Yea, yea I'm fine go get the pirate." I replied. Finally, Elizabeth, Father, and I start making our way back to our home taking in the events of today. Unbeknown what was to come later that night.
