Y/N's mother is strict and strong mentally whilst her father is soft and strong physically and emotionally. They both know how to hold their guard when facing strong challenges.
They've tried having children at least five times. Of course, like many other times, it always failed; either the baby died or it never worked. So they chose to adopt you, Y/N.
The adoption center you were raised in since you were an infant never had the best employees. One worker tried killing a kid to sacrifice to a cursed spirit that eventually died. Another tried killing you when you were seven years old, but when they tried they sensed something from you that made them isolate you. Even when isolated you were still up for adoption no matter how dangerous they found you toward society as a whole.
Eventually, the adoption center got shut down after the amount of years you were in there for. Which can be good or bad depending on if you can see curses or not.
And here you were, after the many horrible memories of being there you still came back.. to exorcise a Grade One curse that was terrorizing the families that live around the place and the people that travel near it.
You were given little information about the curse's abilities except for what it looked like and small bits on how it functioned daily. For instance, it can use your fears against you by transforming into them.
The Grade One has multiple eyes, hands, and legs, two heads, and one gigantic mouth. That was its original form. The many body parts are to symbolize the lives taken in the adoption center, which includes innocent kids and workers.
You'd wish it was a happier meaning but curses form by negative emotions surrounding something or a place. And this orphanage, or adoption center, was definitely not a happy place.
Out of the corner of your eye you notice a teenager walking towards you then they get dragged around the corner as they're screaming for help. Immediately you use one of your cursed techniques called "search" to find the person and the curse.
