The room buzzed with excitement as a group of friends gathered at Pond's house for a weekend hangout. Laughter filled the air, mingling with the music playing softly in the background. As the night wore on, someone suggested a classic game of "Seven Minutes in Heaven," igniting playful chatter and nervous giggles.

To add an element of surprise, they decided to write each person's name on a slip of paper and put them into two separate bowls-one for boys and one for girls. As they prepared for the game, Pond's heart raced at the thought of what could happen.

"Okay, let's pick names!" Dunk exclaimed, and the group eagerly shuffled to grab their slips of paper.

Pond reached into the bowl and pulled out a slip, his eyes widening as he read the name: Phuwin. He glanced at his best friend, who looked equally surprised as he held up his own slip: Pond.

The group erupted in cheers and playful teasing. "Looks like fate wants you two to go together!" someone joked, and both boys felt their cheeks flush.

With a mix of excitement and nerves, Pond and Phuwin walked toward the closet, the playful shoves of their friends pushing them inside. The door closed behind them, plunging them into darkness.

"What do we do now?" Phuwin asked, his voice light but laced with uncertainty.

"Let's just talk," Pond suggested, leaning against the cool wall, feeling the warmth of Phuwin beside him. "It's just seven minutes, right?"

Phuwin chuckled, but there was a hint of nervousness in his laughter. "Yeah, just seven minutes."

They started with small talk, sharing stories and teasing each other, but as the minutes passed, an uneasy silence settled in. The air was thick with unspoken words, and Pond could feel his heart racing as he shifted closer to Phuwin.

"Pond..." Phuwin's voice broke the silence, barely above a whisper. "Do you really like spending time with me?"

Pond's heart raced at the question. "Of course! You're my best friend."

"Yeah, but... do you like me like that?" Phuwin asked, his voice wavering slightly.

Pond took a breath, feeling bold. "I've thought about it. A lot."

"Really?" Phuwin sounded surprised, and Pond could almost picture the look on his face in the darkness.

"Yeah," Pond admitted, feeling the tension building. "I like being close to you. I like you."

Phuwin's breath caught, and for a moment, there was stillness between them. Then he shifted, moving slightly closer. "What if we kissed?"

Pond's heart pounded in his chest. "You want to?"

Phuwin nodded, and Pond could feel the heat radiating off him. "Just to see what it's like?"

"Okay." Pond's voice was barely a whisper. He leaned in, their lips meeting softly. The kiss was tentative at first but quickly deepened as they melted into each other, a spark igniting between them.

They pulled back after a moment, staring at each other wide-eyed, and then burst into laughter, the tension breaking.

"Can you believe we just kissed?" Phuwin said between chuckles, his eyes sparkling. "What are we, some kind of cheesy rom-com?"

"Right? And here we are, secretly dating and hiding it from everyone," Pond replied, still laughing. "This is too ridiculous!"

As they composed themselves, the door swung open, and they were pulled back into the reality of their friends' teasing. "So, what did you two do in there?" Dunk asked, a mischievous grin on his face.

Phuwin, quick on his feet, replied, "Oh, we just told each other dad jokes!"

The group erupted in laughter, clearly skeptical. "Dad jokes? That's all?" someone teased, but Phuwin shrugged with a playful grin, and Pond couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all.

As they settled back into the game, Pond stole a glance at Phuwin, their secret still safe-for now. The laughter echoed in his ears, and he couldn't shake the feeling that those seven minutes had changed everything.
