Phuwin had been thinking about it for a while now. It had been ages since he’d last seen Pond—the cute engineering student that everyone at school seemed to have a crush on. He wasn’t even sure if Pond still attended the same university, let alone if he was still active on social media. So, in a moment of curiosity and impulse, Phuwin took to Twitter.

"Hey guys, do you remember that one cute kid who majored in engineering and was on the cute boy page at school? Does he have an account?"

He chuckled to himself, not expecting much, as he grabbed a bottle of water and wandered into the kitchen. It wasn’t long before his phone started buzzing. First one notification, then two, and soon his Twitter feed was blowing up.

“What the—?” Phuwin muttered, setting the bottle down as he opened his phone to check the sudden influx of activity.

His eyes went wide as he saw Pond’s reply.

Pond had quoted his tweet with a picture of himself, smiling as cheekily as ever, along with the caption: "Looking for me?"

Phuwin sputtered in shock, spitting out the water he had just gulped down. “Oh my god…”

His heart raced as he stared at the picture, the familiar grin sending a jolt through him. Of all the ways for Pond to reappear in his life, this was not what he had expected. Phuwin was still recovering from his surprise when his phone buzzed again.

It was a message from Pond.

"Do you still find me cute?"

Phuwin stared at the message, his fingers hovering over the screen, unsure of what to say. His heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, he could almost feel the heat rise to his face.

What the hell was he supposed to reply to that?

In his flustered state, he didn’t realize he was typing exactly what he was thinking—and then he hit send

In his flustered state, he didn’t realize he was typing exactly what he was thinking—and then he hit send.

Phuwin’s eyes widened in horror as he looked at his phone. Oh no. He mentally cursed himself. How could he accidentally send his thoughts like that? He frantically debated deleting the message, but before he could, Pond responded again.

"Oh, so I’m hot? Well, you aren’t too bad yourself, cutie."

Phuwin went red, his cheeks burning as if he had been caught in some embarrassing moment. His mind went blank, and in a panic, he quickly typed out:

"I uh, got to go and uhm, water my dogs. I mean my plants! Bye!"

Without waiting for a reply, Phuwin exited the chat, feeling mortified. To cope with his embarrassment, he posted a meme on his Twitter feed that read, "I'm going outside to rethink my life and touch some grass." He buried his face in his hands, unsure how to recover from the situation.

On the other side, Pond chuckled at Phuwin's behavior. There was something undeniably cute about how panicked and awkward Phuwin had become. Curious, he checked out Phuwin’s latest tweet and smiled to himself. Yep, cute, he thought.

Amused, Pond decided to write a tweet of his own.

"A Cutiee Indeed."

Almost immediately, his friends jumped onto the post, flooding their group chat, demanding to know what was going on. Pond smirked at their enthusiasm and simply replied, "Don’t be nosy."

He leaned back, grinning to himself.

This was getting more interesting by the minute.
