(Y/N) - Your Name===========================
(Author's POV)
Tomoko Kuroki was an... Unique individual, to say the least.
Her dark green eyes stared intensely at the computer screen, with her hands typing miraculously fast while she clicked link after link on Google. It was almost as if the animator of the show were referencing a scene from Death Note.
What was she looking for? Well, she is searching for how to apologize a person you absolutely have no knowledge of, how to actually speak up for once, and how to also get to know someone.
But why is she stressing out over this?
Well... The first reason is because she's literally Tomoko Kuroki, the girl whose desire is to become popular with everyone.
As for the other reason, well, she was struggling to get over what happened earlier in the week. She felt like an idiot, seeing that her one chance to actually strike a conversation with a boy, who actually talked to her first, has now passed.
Tomoko: Stupid... These suggestions are all too difficult! They make it all look so easy!
She groaned to herself as she covered her face with her hands in frustration. She then got up and slowly got up to look at herself in the mirror.
And she looked fucking miserable, lemme tell you.
TOMOKO KUROKI
"The Unpopular Girl"Tomoko: How is it when I played those otome games, talking to them was so easy?! Am I just that of a fucking pussy?
She glanced at her reflection once more before sighing. Her thoughts then loomed over her mom and her brother.
Tomoko: It feels like I can talk only to my family without stuttering and freezing up...
As if the stars above heard her, Tomoko's mom called out for her from downstairs.
Mrs. Kuroki: Tomoko! Can you come over for a moment?
With another small sigh, she exited her room and walked down stairs. Her mom looked over as Tomoko peered from the second floor.
Mrs. Kuroki: I'm going shopping. Did you want anything?
Tomoko: U-Umm... Twice cooked pork please...
Mrs. Kuroki: Got it. Be back soon!
With a smile, she grabbed her keys and exited the house, leaving Tomoko alone in the house.
Tomoko's body felt sluggish, as if its yelling at her to go back to bed, so the blackette decided that she would go down to make some quick coffee to wake herself up.
A few moments later, she has a small mug in her hands with some warm coffee.
Tomoko: At least I can talk to my mom normally...
She paused, looking down at her reflection in the coffee.
Tomoko: Then again... I guess most reclusive people can talk to their own parents, right?
