Where.... Am I?

Y/n slowly opened her eyes, finding herself surrounded by nature. She slowly pushed herself up from the soft grass, feeling a breeze brush over her features. She could hear the sound of leaves swaying along with birds chirping.

Rubbing her tired eyes, Y/n yawned. 'This is a weirdly calming dream..' she thought, forcing herself to stand up. 'Am I lucid dreaming?'

"Meow."

Upon hearing the familiar sound, Y/n's eyes widened. Her turned around, spotting a familiar black cat looking up at her with a tilted head.

"It's you again..." Y/n mumbled, taking a step back.

The cat meowed again, making Y/n lift a brow. The cat's head looked back. Y/n's gaze followed the cat's. A patch of black mist slowly crept towards them.

"What the...?" Y/n whispered.

The forest before her was succumbed in darkness, a weird aura flowing out of it. The small flowers that were once brightly colored under the sun slumped in sadness, their petals falling to the ground. The trees showed a similar reaction, the bark growing dry and looking like it would snap in half.

Y/n watched as the mist slowly moved towards her. The cat meowed once more, glancing at Y/n.

Con..su...me...

She only gave a confused look at the cat before it ran into the darkness, disappearing within seconds.

Con....sume.....

Y/n stared at the mist. Her mind was telling herself to not move, yet her legs began to function. As she grew closer to the mist, her hand raised.

Consume.... me....

Feeling the ice cold suddenly freeze her hand slightly, Y/n immediately retracted her hand, gasping. Taking a glance at her hand, the black mist lingered on her hand yet never shook off when she tried.

She took a step back, feeling the coldness creep up to her feet, but she was instantly stopped. She felt her back collide against something, and a low chuckle came from above. She then felt a hand lift up hers from behind, holding it beside her gently.

"Your father awaits you." A male's deep voice stated, almost in a whisper.

Y/n couldn't move, her head refusing to turn back to see who was talking. She felt hair touch her cheek, but it wasn't hers. A chin rested on her shoulder, a breath blowing on her neck.

"You must... consume me."

"Who... Argh!" Feeling a sharp pain on her stomach, she let out a yelp. Sweat rolled down her cheek as the person behind her chuckles lowly. Y/n forced herself to pry open her eyes despite the pain, her eyes glancing down to her stomach.

She felt a warm liquid spread down, a red stain growing around her stomach where a black spear pierced through her.

'It... hurts..!' Y/n cried. She felt herself gaps, feeling the spear dig deeper into her. The pain was overwhelming-

Heavy gasps filled her senses. Y/n rose from her bed startled, her body covered in sweat. Her curtains remained open, allowing the moonlight to shine inside her bedroom. Her hand slowly touched her chest, feeling her fast heartbeat due to her nightmare.

'No Y/n, you're letting that old lady get to you...' Y/n thought, shaking her head.

Feeling sweaty, she pushed off her covers, sitting up ashes swung her legs to the edge of her bed. She took a deep breath in, exhaling as her feet touched the cold floors, instantly shivering at the contact. Locating her slippers, she headed straight to her door, slowly opening it and peeking out.
