I don't think I'm a writer

I think maybe, I'm just a broken reader

I cannot find a book that will settle in my soul as much as my first read ever did

I cannot find a poem that will sink its teeth into my heart as much as the first i ever read did.

I will never find a song lyric that will claw at the inside of my brain

as much as "if i were a dog " by sydney rose did

~ i'd be two feet tall and it wouldn't confuse me at all.
