I wish to write beautiful words
And kiss beautiful people
I wish to think pretty thoughts
And view the world through my stained glass mind
I wish to make beautiful things
And sing beautiful songs
I wish for everyone else to see themselves through my eyes
I wish to see myself the way other see me
And i wish to vanquish my fear of the great unknown
I wish to look in the mirror and like what i see
I wish to never be ashamed of being me.
I wish to run my hands through still waters
And inhale the scent of green.
I wish to feel cold stone beneath my feet
As I run through sunlit corridors , skirts of a floor length dress flowing behind me.
I wish to be apart of a world that doesn't exist
And I wish to find love in one that does.
I wish for the pages of my book to turn freely
I wish to bury my toes in the sand of far away beaches
And to feel the waves of bioluminescent waters.
I wish to live in the city and be surrounded by strangers.
I wish to make a mark on the world
And I wish to make others feel like they can too.
I wish upon candles
And eyelashes
Dandelions and coins
I wish for my words to find a place in someone's heart.
I wish for my poetry to be read.
