Chapter 40

Rivaan x Samikshya Suryawanshi

Samikshya followed Rivaan as silently as she could , although she was right behind his car , she made sure to stay 4-5 cars behind , to not make it obvious.

But she frowned when she saw Rivaan turning towards their office , she stilled for a second but again recomposed herself. Soon Rivaan's car stopped in front of their Office and Rivaan got down , Samikshya stayed at a distance and observed what Rivaan was doing.

Siddharth walked out of the office , they both nodded and then walked in. Samikshya sighed in relief when she was proved wrong. Rivaan didn't do anything , he was simply coming to his office.

She also felt a little disappointed with herself because she doubted him. With a soft sigh , Samikshya returned back to the palace .

“Boss , ma'am is here” Rivaan sighed when the guard informed him about Samikshya's arrival in the palace.

Rivaan knew that Samikshya was following him that's why he made the last minute plan to change the location.

Rivaan along with Siddharth walked downstairs towards their basement. He saw Viren’s disheveled state.

Siddharth tsked seeing him , which was obviously to mock Viren. Rivaan folded the sleeves of his shirt and sat in front of Viren.

“The two Suryawanshi brother's, what happened to Rivaan? You need your elder brother to have your back?” Viren smirked which made Rivaan smile only.

Siddharth shook his head and sat behind Rivaan crossing his feet.

“Trying to hide your fear Rathore?” Rivaan taunted leaning ahead.

Viren shook his head in a no and looked away from Rivaan , because Rivaan's gaze was too intense for him

“Come on father in law, look at me now” Rivaan taunted once again and made Viren look at him holding his jaw.

Viren winced a little because of Rivaan's strong hold . Rivaan smirked and tightened the hold which made Viren hiss in pain.

“I really thought you would come around , but again you proved me wrong” Rivaan jerked away his head and took a deep breath.

“Calm down Riv” Siddharth spoke from behind , Rivaan only nodded and calmed down a little.

“You guys can't do anything you are powerless until Siddharth’s coronation” Viren shuddered as he spoke.

“Its Hukum for you” Siddharth reminded Viren , his voice was deep and intense.

“That's where you're mistaken Rathore , Siddharth bhai can't do anything because his crown is at stake , you're right but who said we will kill you? You will be chained here till the coronation, once the coronation is over my men will clear your pathetic existence” Rivaan's words had an underlying threat in it. He meant every word.

Viren's eyes widened but he knew Rivaan can't be manipulated now. He looked at Rivaan and his surroundings to see if there's a way to escape , his limped body slumped back when he lost all his hopes.

“Let's go Rivaan” Siddharth stood up and buttoned up his coat. Rivaan looked at Viren and then nodded at his men , he went out of the basement following Siddharth.

“We need to increase the security, he can't escape from here” Siddharth spoke to Rivaan who nodded at his brother.

“Come back home soon” Rivaan repeated the same thing and hugged Siddharth.
