Chapter 44

SIDDHARTH SURYAWANSHI

“Now siddharth” Arjun looked at me like I am some sort of prey for him.

“I fucking wanna kill you right now, why didn’t you inform me or anyone from Manipur?” he asked and he definitely sounded furious.

“Oh shut it up Arjun, did you call her and ask her if she’s okay? Did you know that your dearest friend is the reason behind my wife’s problem? You were the one busy buying my sister red velvet cookies” I snapped back harshly. Arjun’s face went pale, he looked at me completely shocked and he opened his mouth to say something but closed it again.

“Shocked?” I smirked at him.

“What did you think I won’t know what my sisters are doing back there?” I asked him, raising my brows.

“That’s not the case here” he muttered looking away from my eyes. 

“If you say so” I shrugged, our conversation was cut short because Sukanya entered the hall with a tray of tea and cookies.

“Everything alright?” she asked looking at me and Arjun. I smiled and gave her a nod of assurance.

“You two enjoy your sibling time, I will be back after taking a shower.” I said to them and walked out of the hall.

I was mad when I got to know about Taranya and Arjun. My sisters are unknown to the fact that their bodyguards report everything to me and Rivaan. Although they don’t like it but their protection is our top priority, I was quiet only because I was waiting for her to come and confess it to me. Arjun is a great guy, he is the only heir to Manipur’s throne and he is a man with ethics, I am sure no one from our family would object to their relationship.

But as an elder brother I will definitely not let Arjun get us that easily. I still remember him threatening me about Sukanya’s safety.

“I would destroy your entire state if something happened to my sister” were his words. I sighed and finished off with my shower. I got dressed in my usual office wear and walked out to see Sukanya and Arjun laughing over something.

“Now, suku, tell me whatever you remember and please don’t hesitate” Arjun urged Sukanya, who looked at me. I nodded at her encouraging her to go on with whatever she remembers.

Arjun sighed and rubbed his face out of frustration after sukanya told him everything, we came to my office and since then we were trying to trace that bastard’s location. Arjun tried to contact his assistant but none of them were picking up Arjun’s call.

Siddharth, do you remember we sent a few maids with suku” Arjun asked and I nodded at him, both Vanitya and Sukanya brought their own helpers who would personally assist them in everything.

“Jyoti and Radha” I said to Arjun who nodded at me.

“Radha always had a crush on Rishabh, do you think?” his words made me lost in thoughts, could it be?

“What are you suggesting?” I asked him, he took a deep breath and looked at me.

“Where are they now?” Arjun asked

“In the palace” I replied, Arjun immediately stood up and took his coat.

“Let’s go to the palace.” Arjun said, I nodded and followed him. We both arrived in the palace after a short drive.

Taranya and Sanchita both gasped looking at Arjun who just nodded at them and followed me to the servant’s quarter. I eyed them,
