My world stopped moving for a second when Varun called me to inform me about Samikshya . I knew Samikshya would go to her parents house but I never expected Damini Rathore to react in this way.

Viren Rathore and Damini Rathore adopted Samikshya when she was very young , Samikshya doesn't even remember anything but here's the catch, Samikshya is actually Viren Rathore’s daughter from his one night stand or so . Damini loved her because she couldn't go against Viren.

But things changed when Viren got to know about Samikshya's million dollar property, he planned to murder her after Revati’s marriage and that's when I stepped into the frame.

I rejected Revati and married Viren , which made him hate me to the guts.Feelings are mutual . I planned to get information about Samikshya’s real mother and then kill Viren , but everything got messed up .

Damini Rathore will pay for whatever she did to Samikshya , the entire Rathore family will. I stepped out of the car and hurried inside to the hospital where Samikshya was admitted .

As soon as I stepped in , My heart clenched to see Samikshya's state. She was lying on the bed , unconscious at the moment. With a deep sigh , i took a seat beside her and gently caressed her hair.

My eyes went to the door where Varun stood with a sad expression, i nodded at him and then walked out , i turned back to look at Samikshya who was still unconscious.

“Sir” Varun greeted me as soon as I stood in front of him.

“Go to the basement and torture Viren till he doesn't say anything” I commanded Varun who was fast enough to listen to me.

I nodded at him and then returned back to Samikshya's room. Her nurse came in to check on her and said she fainted because of shock and hunger .

I got a call from Siddharth bhai asking why I was not there today. I told him everything. Siddharth bhai asked me to take care of Samikshya and that he would take care of the basement in my absence. God knows what I would do without him . Even though Siddharth bhai’s own life is so messed up at the moment, he never failed to help us brothers.

I sighed and waited for Samikshya to gain her consciousness, i had to explain it to her . Although i know it won't be easy for her to digest the entire truth , in the end she has to know her true identity.

I wish I am able to find traces of her mother and help Samikshya with her. My eyes snapped open when I heard some strange sound. I looked around but nothing was there. Finally my eyes fell on Samikshya who was looking at me with teary eyes .

“Sam” i called , she looked into my eyes and then immediately turned around .

My hands shook when i raised it to hold her shoulder, hesitantly I kept my hand on her shoulder and then she burst out in tears. She clutched my hand for her dear life and cried in pain.

I could do nothing but let her cry and vent out all her pain at that moment.

“I-i a-am So-sorry Rivaan” she murmured in between her cries. I shook my head and took her in my arms. My baby should never cry like this.

“Sssh” I said and rocked her a little after a few minutes her sobs died and she took deep breaths to calm herself.

My sleep broke when someone rang the doorbell , I rubbed my sleepy eyes and then looked around to search for Sukanya .

“Sid , i am in the shower please see who it is” Sukanya's voice came from the shower. I sighed and got up from the bed , my eyes widened when I saw the person standing in front of me .
