Chapter 47

SIDDHARTH SURYAWANSHI

I entered my office and my eyes fell on Arjun who was seated on the couch along with Rishabh kneeled in front of him. The sight itself made me smirk at Arjun.

As I approached them, my footsteps made Rishabh flinch. I liked it. This should be the fear.

“Undo his blindfold” I ordered my men who instantly nodded and did whatever they were instructed to do.

I took a moment to look at his face, his lips were busted as if someone punched him on the face and his eyes had a purple spot around it. I am sure Arjun had a little fun with him before bringing him here.

“Siddharth Suryawanshi” he said and raised his eyes to look at me. He hissed in pain when Gautam stepped on his toe and held his hair.

“It's your highness for you” Gautam said to Rishabh who was screaming in pain.

Gautam was doing his best to track Rishabh but this bastard escaped every time but this time when Radha provided us his current contact number, Gautam was bringing him here as soon as he could.

“Your highness” Rishabh cried out in pain, his voice was choked and raspy.

“Gautam leave him” I ordered, he nodded and left Rishabh who took a deep breath of relief and looked down.

“Arjun and I would like to have some fun with him, arrange the basement” I said to my other men who nodded and went out of the room along with Rishabh.

“It was nice working with you Mr. Birla, I am thankful” I said to Gautam who nodded at me and went out of the cabin.

“I am going home to see Sukanya, she's with Kritika. You do your work but don't kill him” I said to Arjun who nodded at me.

I rushed out of the office and went back to the apartment. By the time I was there she was done with her therapy session.

“Siddharth” I was greeted by Kritika who smiled at me.

“Hey” I said, she stepped out so I could enter the house.

“Siddharth I had to tell you something” I nodded at Kritika urging her to continue.

“Shift back to the palace, let Sukanya be around people. She's better than before now and I guess this is the time she should start getting used to her early lifestyle” Kritika said.

“I was thinking about the same, now that her culprit is in my hand and everything is alright,I guess we should return back to the palace” I replied. Kritika nodded at me and stood up from the couch.

“Call me whenever you like but Sukanya doesn't need me anymore, she needs to be around people and that's how she would heal” Kritika smiled at me.

“Thank you so much for your help Kritika, I am really grateful” I said with a genuine smile on my face.

“No issues, that's my job Siddharth and all the best for your future” she smiled at me.

We both hugged each other as a farewell and just like that Kritika left with a good note. I don't know what went wrong in our past but I am happy that none of us are holding grudges against each other. I would cherish this friendship forever.

“Sid, are you home?” I heard my beautiful wife’s voice and turned back to see her.

“Yes and I have good news” I said, going near her. She doesn't flinch anymore whenever I am close to her. She's getting used to my touch just the way she was.
