This is my first story so please don't judge. Also I'm not good at explaining things so I may pictures to show characters settings. Also feel free to give me tips to improve my writing in the comments.

All of the mages stared in shock. One of the most dangerous mages in Fiore was right in front of them.
Natsu stared at him as well. He was so different and older but it was definitely him.
"Nii-chan!" Natsu exclamated happily. He wriggled in Lucy's arms so Lucy gently put him down.
As soon as he was on the floor he sprinted to his big brother.
Zeref was stood in shock. Natsu was a little kid. But what struck Zeref the most was Natsu seemed to be the same age he was before he died.
Zeref couldn't help but kneel down in on his knees and open his arms wide to his baby brother. Natsu ran into Zeref's open arms and the Dragneel Brothers hugged each other tightly. Suddenly Zeref held Natsu under his arms, stood up and swung him around just like they did as kids. Natsu couldn't help but laugh in joy.
"Zeref-nii! How are you here?! I thought you, mommy and daddy were dead! Why do you look so much older?! Why am I 400 years in the future?! What's going on?!" The young boy questioned. Zeref didn't know how to answer those questions. Not only did he risk scaring his brother, but he would also risk the wizards in Fairy Tail turning their backs on them both.
Zeref didn't care what they thought about him, but Natsu loved and still loves this guild. If they turned their backs to him it would crush him. Zeref didn't know what to do.
"It's a very complicated story Natsu. And it's not very pleasant either" Zeref told Natsu as he sat him down on the floor.
Gray had enough. He marched over to the Dragneels, softly put his hand on Natsu shoulder and gently pushed Natsu behind him, put himself between Zeref and the young Natsu.

"What's your deal here?" Gray glared at Zeref. "What do you gain by pretending to be Natsu's brother? If you really are brothers where were you this whole time?"
"Wait! Zeref-nii is my brother! Look I've got a picture of us!" Natsu gripped the shirtless stranger's trousers with one tiny hand, while the other reached into his pocket and pulled out a photo.
All members of the guild surrounded them to look at the picture. Half of them wanted to see the proof of them being brothers. The other half was just curious.

Zeref pulled out his necklace and opened the locket and showed the guild members.

"Alright, so you're really brothers. But that doesn't explain where you were this whole time" Gray spoke again.
Zeref looked around the guild members and he spotted Elfman and Evergreen.
"You two, when you saw me on Tenrou Island, you saw that black cloud that surrounded me and killed everything it touched. That was the reason I wasn't there for Natsu. I didn't want him to get killed because of me"
"Zeref-nii what are you talking about? Never there for me? You were always there for me! We stuck together like glue!" Natsu questioned.
Zeref kneeled down on one knee and put a hand on Natsu shoulder "It's a very long and complicated story. I'll tell you an other day"
Natsu just crossed his arms and pouted, clearly not happy with that answer.
Zeref chuckled and ruffled Natsu's hair "Don't look at me like that. You'd probably fall asleep mid way through my explanation"
Natsu giggled and took Zeref's hand off his head. "Yeah I guess you're right" Natsu smiled his usual, bright, and toothy grin. But what surprised everyone in the guild was Zeref smiled the exact same smile. They were identical.
