"Make sure to get your knights and bishops out ready to attack, your queen needs to stay safe." Ron rambled as he once again tried to explain Wizards Chess to me.

"Look, Ronald I don't think I'll ever get the hang of this so how about you let me finish my hashbrowns!"

Ron looked over with an eye roll.
"You say that yet complain when I beat you!"

"Well, instead of trying to explain every bloody rule of chess,how about you finish your transfiguration homew-"

My voice quickly cut off as a fairly familiar brown owl rushed past delivering 4 letters right on the top of my head.

"I haven't got anything for you!You little git!" Ron complained as his over confident owl pecked at his shirt.

"Thanks Pig for dropping them on my head." I huffed sarcastically as I collected the letters, soon noticing the hogwarts seal and immediately recognising what they were.

"Oi Ron! Look It's our Owl Results!" I exclaimed, as I shared a suprised look with the red head as he quickly made his way over, looking for his name.

Hermione had also entered the dining room as a result of our mini commotion.

"Hermione It's our results!" I repeated as Hermione took ahold of her letter with both worry and eagerness.

The opening of parchment and thrilling silence took over the room as our eyes scanned over each and every word in our letters.

The feeling of concern soon melted away, a small smile surpassing my furrowed expression.

The results read...

Transfiguration = O
Charms = E
Potions = O
History Of Magic = A
Defense Agaisnt The Dark Arts = E
Astronomy = E
Herbology = O
Arithmacy = E
Ancient Runes = O

I wasn't exactly Hermione level smart but it seemed as though my endless hours of studying and camping the back of the library had payed off.

I looked over to the two beside me, Hermione biting at her nails and Ron looking as if he had just won the triwizard tournament.

"7 Owls! 7 OWLS!" Ron exclaimed, his smile widening by the second.

"I'd say I did good" I replied with enthusiasm as I looked over to show Ron my results.

"Good?! That's bloody brilliant compared to mine."

I returned Ron's smile as Hermione's small mutters continued,reading over her results for seemed like the 50th time.

Ron peered into Hermione's letter and he took a second glance before immediately going into a quick ramble.

"Hermione! That's amazing, why have you got that look for?!"

My nosiness got ahead of me as I sneaked in a look for myself

"9 Outstandings! Hermione are you even looking at the same piece of parchment as me?". I questioned as I tried to understand the frown on her face.

"Yes but look at Defense Agaisnt The Dark Arts, I knew I wouldn't do good in that..." Hermione sighed in response with Ron quickly biting back.

"If you think Exceeds Expectations isn't good, then you've gone bloody mental."

A reassuring smile took over her frown, as she thanked Ron for his half-hearted compliment.

"Wait Harry hasn't seen his results, where's he hiding at?"

"He should be upstairs- I think" Ron answered.

"Well I'll just give him his letter and don't eat my hashbrowns while I'm gone Ronald." I added with a stern gaze as I turned upstairs.
