Miyuna, 爱安平

"Sign the divorce papers," Huang said, shoving the papers toward Miyuna. Miyuna looked up. The light that she used to have in her eyes was long gone. She took a pen and signed it without a second thought. "You're not even going to look through it?"

"Why would I need to?" Miyuna asked. Her voice was quieter than it usually was. "It doesn't matter."

"Do you know why we're divorcing?"

"Yes, I do." Miyuna was part of the Shu family, a wealthy one. She was forced to marry Huang because of her family. Huang was not in love with Miyuna but in love with her sister, Aiya. While Aiya had tanned skin, Miyuna had pale skin. Aiya had hazel eyes, and Miyuna had bright blue eyes. Aiya was almost every man's dream girl. The only thing that both girls had in common was their black hair but while Aiya's was coarse, Miyuna's was soft and sleek. Miyuna's hair was wavy but Aiya had untamed curls. "You're divorcing me because you want to be with my sister."

"You're not mad about it?"

"There's nothing for me to say." Miyuna stood up and left the dining room. "I hope you make my sister happy."

"You're-" Miyuna shut the door to her room, cutting him off from whatever he was going to say. All my life. The whole time I just wanted someone to care about me. To love me. She collapsed on her bed and burrowed under the covers. She had no friends. Her parents didn't care about her. Neither did her sister. Or even Huang, who she thought cared about her in the beginning. Even Huang's family didn't care about her. Once she knew she was alone, she cried because she was alone, unloved, cold, and empty inside.

💔 💗 💔

Miyuna stared at the view below a vacant deserted building. Should I jump? Miyuna stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jacket. She wore a black jacket with black leggings and black boots. It matched her mood. Huang and Miyuna turned in the divorce papers a week ago. After that happened, Huang and Aiya announced that they would be getting married. She could still get her inheritance, only her grandmother wrote Miyuna's name in her will. It was probably because she felt bad for Miyuna.

"What are you doing?" a voice asked. Miyuna didn't look at them instead she picked to stare at the view below. "Are you going to jump?"

"If I said yes," Miyuna started. "Would you stop me?" She felt them try to pull her away from the ledge. They held onto her shoulders. "Why do you care? I'm a stranger to you."

"I'd jump with you." Miyuna's heart stopped. Whoever they were, they snaked their arms around her waist. Miyuna broke out of their grip.

"Just leave me alone." She looked back at the person. It was a man. He had raven black hair, turquoise eyes, and pale skin. There were fading burn marks on his arms.

"Don't do it. You'll only hurt the people you love." Miyuna laughed bitterly.

"No one loves me." With that, she stepped off the building.

"NO!" The man reached for her, but she was already falling. She hit the ground and sank into peaceful darkness.

💔 Aiya's P.O.V 💔

Aiya walked down the street. Her heart swirled with happiness. She was getting married!

"NO!" she heard someone shout then a body slammed into the ground. It was a familiar person. Miyuna.

"MI!" Aiya screamed, running to her twin sister's side. Blood pooled around her sister's body. Aiya picked her sister up and cradled Miyuna against her body. With shaky hands, she pulled out her phone and dialed the emergency line.

"Hello?" someone said. "What is your emergency?"

"Please, my twin sister just jumped off a building. She's still breathing but barely." Aiya cried as she spoke. A man with black hair appeared at the base of the building as she hung up. They said they were sending an ambulance.

"Oh god," he said, kneeling next to Aiya. "I'm so sorry. I tried to get her to stop." His shoulders shook. "I'm so sorry."

"Y-you tried to help my sister?" The guy's eyes widened as he nodded. "Thank you." Aiya's shoulders shook as she sobbed. She hugged her sister tightly. Miyuna's breathing was getting shallower by the minute. Finally, she heard the sirens.

"Where is the girl?" one of the doctors asked, running over to Aiya and the man.

"She's here," the guy called. The doctors put Miyuna on a stretcher and pushed her into the ambulance.

"Can I go with her?" Aiya asked. "She's my twin." The doctor nodded and Aiya went inside the ambulance.

"I'll meet you there." Aiya nodded and cried the whole way to the hospital.
