The sandcruiser came to a slow stop in front of an old beat-up shop, a tent sort of thing was built on the side of it covering up a slow-moving, giant fan. There were a couple of energy poles in the distance collecting solar rays from the sun as it was setting on the horizon, a beautiful view. Osborn looked back to see Asher also fell asleep, Hesperia was now lying down on his lap holding the Fegli close. It truly was a sweet sight, but they should probably move it inside before the raiders come out for the night. Carefully he woke up Asher and Asher was about to wake Hesperia as well till Osborn told him to just carry the girl into the guest room.
Osborn parted the heavy curtain that was behind the shop door for Asher to carry in Hesperia and Kipper.
"Man, she owes me for this. Dead wait much." He mumbled looking down at her, making his way to the guest bedroom. Hesperia was lying on the bed, the room looked to be prepared for someone, even if it wasn't much. A desk was lit up in a corner and a big circle window overlooked the sunset, plants hung from the ceiling or were potted on the ground. It looked more like a study room than a guest room, but it was cozy. Asher sat on the bed looking down at her, moving the hair out of her face. Spotting some freckles that were scattered on her skin, her hair was soft and untamed from how long she had been a prisoner there, but she was beautiful for a human. This made Asher question more on how she ended up with monks, she looked to have come from at least a noble family.
"You are something." He whispered and leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Get well soon princess." Asher got up and walked out of the room. Little footsteps came from behind him after he moved another heavy curtain exiting the room, Asher was confused and looked all around him to find no one. It wasn't till he looked down to find the Fegli sitting looking up at him, the animal was giving off a warry vibe that Asher could feel.
"So you must be her little protector, huh?" Asher reached down to pet it and Kipper hissed and clawed at the boy's hand. "Look here you little shit-"
"Asher, no need to start a fight with our guests," Osborn called from down the stairs.
"Pest." He grumbled making his way down the stairs, Kipper ran down in between his legs almost making him fall. Another growling noise came from Asher.
"The soup is almost done," Osborn called disappearing out of sight, under the loft. The shop was cozy but had a mechanic type of feel to it, the first half had two space shuttles in it with the walls lined with parts and tools for them. The second half had an open kitchen with a pit-type thing in the middle that had benches around a round table. A couple of rooms were off to the side of it, but the plants seemed to be planted all around, someone had a green thumb. Osborn placed a giant bowl on the table along with other things to eat.
"So does this mean you will become her Master?" The both of them sat at the table, a sigh fell from Osborn's mouth.
"That is something I've meant to talk to you about." Asher prepared himself for what was next. "I can not have two apprentices and you know that. It's part of the code Ash, yet I am not for certain who her Master will be and it scares me."
"Are you feeling okay master?" Asher was now worried. Osborn waved his hand to shoo away the worry Asher had.
"I am fine Asher, but when it comes to telling who her Master shall be I can not see. Almost like it's not my business to see it." He chuckled finally done serving the two bowls of soup.
"Does that mean we have to take her to the old temple?" Asher ate some bread.
"Ash, for one you need to let me worry about that, and two. Learn some table manners, if she is one of the Monyecs of this century then she soon will have to be eating with nobles." Osborn sipped on tea. "And she might have you in the presence of nobles." He chuckled to himself.
