A few days had passed and Jeongin had started becoming a part of Felix's life. He had gotten used to living with an additional person. The two of them were getting closer sharing a room and every now and then Felix noticed his heart skipping a beat whenever they got too close.

On the other hand, Felix had only gotten more distant from Chan. It wasn't too much of a difference in their relationship but it was still noticeable. Chan didn't really show affection when Jeongin was around and Felix felt hesitant about it as well, not wanting to make either of them uncomfortable.

Felix only saw Chan in the evenings when Jeongin was also home so there weren't many chances when they could get some time one on one. Chan was still sweet and caring to both younger guys. And the time the three of them spent together still felt really pleasant. Felix took what he could get.

After Jeongins first week at college, the weekend arrived and he went home to his family a few cities over. That way Chan and Felix could get some alone time after all. Well, on Saturday Felix was live-streaming until the evening and Chan was out with some friends at night.
But both of them were free on Sunday.

"Chan" Felix whispered, laying on Chan's chest on the couch. Both of them hadn't done much today besides relaxing after a busy week.
"What's up" Chan held the younger tightly. It felt so good to finally get embraced by him again.
"You said we'd talk"

Felix knew he'd risk the cute moment by speaking up but there had been some things on his mind. He wasn't even sure what he wanted to say but hoped the words would come to him.
"Yeah. We should"

Chan seemed to know what was on the younger's mind. Maybe he didn't even need to say it out loud.
"About Jeongin, yeah?" Chan asked.
Felix nodded and then was finally brave enough to speak up.
"When I saw you cuddle him, there was more to it, right?"

Chan looked back at him with an expression Felix hadn't seen him have often.
"You don't just want to take care of Jeongin. You find him attractive, right?"
Chan looked away and Felix couldn't believe he was the one making the older feel nervous.
It was rare to see him vulnerable like that.

Felix felt awful. He hated making Chan feel uncomfortable and he already regretted saying anything.
"The two of you are just so cute in the same way"
Chan finally replied.
"Jeongin's nothing like me" Felix protested.

"Well Jeongin's nothing like me either and yet you still like both him and me" Chan said.
Felix felt called out. He hadn't really taken the time to think about his feelings for Jeongin yet but there wasn't any denial to what Chan said.
He liked both of them.
Of course, Felix was aware of how much he loved Chan but Jeongin just turned his world upside down. It was almost annoying in a way.

"Maybe we shouldn't talk about this... Maybe it would be easier to just let it happen"
Felix knew he wasn't exactly an expert at talking so potentially it was better to let actions speak. The conversation had turned in a way that made him regret speaking up in the first place.
"Are you sure?" Chan was rightfully concerned.
It didn't sound like the most careful approach.
But Felix nodded.

He knew he couldn't forbid Chan from liking Jeongin if he himself had started to catch feelings for him.
"Chan, I'm fine with anything as long as you stay close to me"

"I will, Lix" Chan's voice was soft but he sounded genuine "I care for you, alright?"
He held the younger tightly in his arms.
"You can come to me anytime, okay? Talk to me if you're hurt or upset or if anything happens"

Felix nodded.
He just wanted Chan. He didn't care about anything else. The way Jeongin managed to make his heart race didn't matter. He just wanted Chan. And if Chan liked someone else, he still wanted him.

"We haven't had much time to ourselves lately, Lix" Chan said after a while of just holding Felix
"I should have taken more time to be with you"

"It's okay, you were busy. But I did miss this"
Felix snuggled against the older.
"You don't have any more plans for today, right?"
Chan's voice was deep. What he asked made Felix forget about anything they had talked about.

"Depends on what you'd do to me if I didn't"
