Reo's POV
" Hungry ?" I enquired.
Although I seemed confident I had collected every penny in the house to make this date cherishable.
" Let's have a cup of tea."
I let a sigh of relief. So we are on the same page. The company wasn't doing enough to pay our salaries on time and they were facing enough trouble from investors. we were in loss. She looked flustered. Maybe we should really get going.
" The situation's bad now, isn't it ?"There now. We were vulnerable.
As I was thinking I shouldn't have said it, she replied..." I was wondering too... No idea what job to look for if I get sacked soon. The reputation is gone low to be taken as qualification for work experience too."
" We can open a bookstall with a small tea counter then."
Where did that come from?!Her ringing laugh was worth it. I chuckled a little. Well done boss.
Our tea arrived.
One sip and I relaxed. Tea was my stress pill. She seemed to be enjoying too.I was scared to feel anything. Yet a warm mushiness was engulfing my body. I actually enjoyed company in such a long time.
I walked her home, she smiled and waved me goodnight.
Damn, I could sleep well today.
