Here we see the rush hour of the city life. Trains to different stations , every two minutes , coffee obsessed sleep deprived- corporate workers , children dropped to schools by their parents, heavy traffic accompanied with loud horns as people busy themselves in the daily hustle of life.
Although, it's lovely to mention the second side of city people. TheTeens.
The teenagers are a different breed, you see. They have this lingering guilt in whatever they do. Somehow self-convinced that they are not worthy to be happy. Studying is not a matter of knowledge , it's a status symbol. It is what drives them nuts or makes them one of the influential and successful people of all time.
Now, this period can be quite an unique experience for some people. One action could cost their youth unknowingly..."WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN?!!" ,the drunken father yelled throwing his last empty bottle. The glass shattered right near his son's feet. Shivering, Reo shifted away, nearly injured.
"SHE WAS WORTHLESS!! THAT PIECE OF SHI- ". And he fell unconscious.
Enough, he had taken a lot of beatings and curses on his mother's behalf. Even after convincing himself ,this time he couldn't take it.
His 18 year old self couldn't bear the heat of the moment and poured the remaining 'emergency alcohol' his father saved around the filthy one-bedroom house and lit it with fire. His upper neighbor , Claire called out. She had always secretly taken care that Reo always had a full meal. Sensing danger, she looked out of her crammy windows and saw the smoke rising and fire spreading uncontrollably. She ran, grabbing essentials but her purse caught fire.
"F*** it" , she ran out of the 2 storeyed- building crying for help.Reo had disappeared. 2 A.M, late night. She called the emergency helpline to put out the fire but it was too late....
The boy rested under a bridge, after running in the wild dark. Angry tears and realization hitting him. "Why Me?!!!"
