Chapter 3

Stephanie's POV

For the first time in my life I was excited to get up and live upto what they refer as the weekend .

Some change was occuring in this monotonous shit. I had never caught an eye for anyone until now. He didn't seem like a bad guy or maybe I had lost it.

Whatever I didn't want to get late and mess it up again. Finishing up my morning routine and stuffing myself with some dry bread toast, I ran to catch the bus.

A queasy feeling took over. Shit, shouldn't have eaten so fast.

I made it to the Central library and found Mr.Unknown waving to be recognised.

Well, why didn't I ask him his name yesterday??!

I got shot with a " Have you eaten yet ? " ...

Well yeah and I'm about to throw up too. Keeping my composure I replied " Umm.. a little"

It was getting awkward by the moment so I rushed to pick a book from the neighbouring shelf.

" Ahh... _________________________ by ___________________________ , I love that one . Have you read it ?" he asked.

I felt a bit offended by the lack of knowledge on it.

" Bit strange that you would ask about what I have read before my name, but to answer your question..
No, I haven't read it yet."

He smiled understandingly.
" I'm sorry but it's interesting to observe a person's personality by the books they read. I apologize for not doing introductions. "
Something about his tone of speaking made my cheeks flush pink and body tremble. He spoke stern yet lovingly.

" I'm Reo Lawrence, and I live alone in an apartment behind Sovie(company) . I work in the mechanical dept. About you?"

I forgot my name.
Literally.

"I'm Steph- Stephanie. I too work at Sovie but in the advertising sector. Tight on budget, so staying at my friend's house in Milk colony.

My bestie, Emily had shifted due to her father's transfer and allowed me to stay at hers.

I grabbed something from the fiction aisle and saw him deciding between comics and fiction. Finally taking a book from the fiction aisle , he walked to where I was sitting.

Something we both agree on.
