Liam

"I heard about this really nice new cafe on Main Street- we should check it out some time" Leah nervously proposes with a flirtatious yet anxious smile painted across her face.

I don't even know if I like her?

"Of course I would" I reply, regretting my choice of words almost immediately.

"Oh you have something on your collar-"

She reaches out and brushes something off my shirt, and her eyes meet mine.

Her blue eyes reflect into mine, shining like the bright stars that float in the sky at night.

The entire world echoes around me and Leah
while she grabs my collar, pulling me in to kiss me. Our lips meet, and I surprisingly can't seem to feel anyone's eyes piercing my head like they usually do.

And I don't care, I'm fine with people staring. They can get fucked.

I hold the kiss for a second, not knowing what I'm doing.

Why am I doing this? I don't even like her? Or anyone really?

I could like her.

She is beautiful, her eyes shine like bright blue diamonds, her lips are plump and a soft red colour. She has gorgeous tan skin that glows like honey. She is probably the most stunning women I've ever laid my eyes on.

No. She is one of them though.

There is that one girl.

Our lips press together, and everything pauses in it's won position. The world stops spinning. My heart stops beating. Everyone stops moving. Everything is paused but us. Us right here. Together. In an empty and lifeless world we stand.

She breaks the kiss, and my heart stops for a second when her bright bulging blue eyes are uncovered by her eyelids, making her pupils sparkle like diamonds in the light.

"So how about lunch on Saturday" I ask her, my heart pumping due to the fear of rejection I carry.

"I'll be there" she giggles, trying to stop the flawless smile she carries on her face.

We stand close together in an awkward silence for a second, but I don't care. I'm happy to be standing here with such a perfect woman.

The school bell rings, and Leah darts out of the door, meeting with her friends. I search the room for jack, and he is standing in the corner of the wall with Katie, his back pressed against the wall.

Katie walks out, and jack begins to approach me. He looks more happy than usual.

We walk out of the classroom, nothing else on my mind but Leah.

"Liam!" Stacy shouts with a smile, lifting her arm up to wave at me across the empty hallway.

Fuck off you slut.

I've never liked her. Ever. She is a slut who did my best friend jack so dirty.

She pretended to like him, and only used him for his money and so she could get closer to me.

And she is mean to Valentina, who has been my friend since we were six.

Kind of, we aren't close anymore, but I still talk to her sometimes. I talked to her today in math, i was asking about Stacy. If Stacy is still rude to her.

But who am I kidding, who is Stacy nice to? No one. She is a bitch to everyone and expects boys to want her even though she is the most ugly hearted pick me in the whole world.
