Silas:

I'm pulled out of my memories when my phone rings.

Incoming call: Wife

"Luna? My love, All okay?" I ask. I was under the impression that she was going to work and she usually doesn't call when there. "I just got a call from the boys, they can't find Athena." It sounds like she is in the car.

I can hear in her voice that she is frantic. I look over to my sons who's eyes go wide. Marcus yells to the driver to get us home asap. "We are on the way now my love. Breath, help them search the house."

She hangs up as she pulls into the driveway. Ten minutes later I get a text that they found her. "False alarm. They found her." I immediately relax as do the boys.

Moments later we pull into the driveway each of us exiting the car quickly. Raised voices is what I hear first when I enter my home. They were coming from the Kitchen. When I step in there I see my youngest children arguing and my wife looking like she is about to lose it.

"Enough!" I raise my voice over theirs cause them all to startle. "All of you sit down." I point to the kitchen table. Grumbling they do as their told each on of the kids plopping down in their chairs.

"Now, what is going on?" Finn talks first. He is glaring at Athena, who is glaring back just as hard. I'd laugh at how much she looks like her mother is this was any other situation. "We just wanted to hang out, but she walked away and then we couldn't find her anywhere! We thought something happened to her."

"Finn." I warn when he starts to raise his voice again. "Where were you?" I turn to Athena with a raised eyebrow. "I was right here!" She exclaims.

"Actually you right there." Luna points under the table. My baby girl was hiding from her brothers under the kitchen table.

"Okayyy, and why were you hiding from your brothers?" I ask next. Athena throws her hands in the air. "Because they won't leave me alone! It's like the last few weeks they have gone crazy. Coming into my room and not leaving, following me around school. They even stood outside the girls locker room the other day to wait for me after P.E!"

The last couple of weeks, huh?

When I look over at my boys I can see they all look sheepish. "We just want you to be safe." Kaden scoffs. "And why wouldn't I be safe?" Athena glares catching Kaden off guard with her comment.

"Uh- wel- I." He looks at me to save him. I catch Luna's eye. With a nod I turn back to my daughter.

"I think it's time we have a conversation."

Athena:

I sit forward in my chair and look at Silas. "You're telling her?" Kaden exclaims. "Yes, I think with everything going on she need to be informed." I raise my eyebrow and look at the other people around the table.

They all look deep in thought.

"Athena. It's not that your brothers are trying to be annoying. But there are things you don't know about this family." He continue, running his hands through his hair.

"You know that when you were young you were taken from us, yes?" I nod hesitantly. "I remember some of it." I say honestly. I don't think they expected that and their eyes all go wide.

Silas takes a deep breath. "We'll talk more about that later. But for now, you need to know that the family business it's well...."

Ohhhh he's going to tell me about the mafia!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.

"Our business goes back generations. We started in Italy and grew it even more in America before you were taken. This is not a normal business and we do a lot of not so legal things. We sell guns, drugs, and other things."

There is a pause when Silas looks at me like I'll see them different now, which if I was anyone else maybe. "So what I am trying to say is that the D'Angelo name is heavily associated with the Italian Mafia... as in we run it. I am the former Don, or the leader if you will."

Everyone around me stiffens and silence takes over the room waiting for my reaction. I'm still thinking how I should play this. Do I tell them I already knew or act like I am shocked by this revelation.

After a few seconds go by I decide it's probably better to be straight forward and tell them that I knew.

So I slowly nod my head and look at everyone or at least try to. Marcus won't look me in the eye, same with Finn. Whilst Gabriel looks anxious and both Kaden and Elijah hold stony looks.

"I'm going to be honest," I start gaining my families attention. "I already knew who you where." There is another moment of silence as my words sink in. One by one looks of confusion and disbelief form.

"What? How?" Luna asks, shaking her head. "You know I race, I have done so for a while now as well as my fights. Every now again there would be talks of mafia families in the area who were going to be at a fight or race that sort of thing. I had heard of you all way back when I first started out." I explain and then add.

"But when we met at the restaurant I didn't know who you all were since I had never seen who the Italian Mafia were only heard of them. After the first night with everything that happened I got curious on who you all were and I had a friend dig into you guys, he told me and then you all said I was your daughter and sister and I didn't want to bring it up you know?"

I try my best to explain to everyone. They nod and take what I said in. I chance a glance at Elijah who still looks deep in thought. "You okay?" I ask. He looks up abruptly.

"When I first say you at the restaurant I knew you looked familiar, but I thought that was just because of your features like everyone else but it's not is it?" Oh wow.

I guess it's not. There was a fight two years ago. I was up again this woman who was playing dirty, she needed the win as the had debt she owed.

A sad smile takes over when I say. "Two years ago, the race in San Diego." I say as I remember that day.
