The U.S.J. entrance was a scene of chaos. Eraser Head, battling a wave of villains, found himself facing Tomura Shigaraki, the ringleader of the League of Villains. Tomura, with a cruel grin, used his Decay Quirk to damage Eraser Head's elbow, forcing the pro hero to retreat.
"Your Quirk is interesting, Eraser Head," Tomura taunted, "but it's ultimately limited." He paused, a smirk twisting his lips. "But you've lasted longer than I expected." Before Eraser Head could respond, a monstrous figure, towering over the hero, charged towards him.
Meanwhile, Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru, having escaped the Shipwreck Zone, arrived at the Central Plaza, only to find their teacher defeated. The bio-engineered monster, Nomu, stood over Eraser Head, a chilling testament to its power.
Tomura, his gaze fixated on the students, moved to attack Tsuyu, his Decay Quirk poised to strike. Eraser Head, despite his injury, used his Quirk to stop Tomura, buying the students a precious moment.
Izuku, fueled by a desperate need to protect his friends, launched a smash at Tomura. But the attack was intercepted by Nomu, its monstrous strength rendering Izuku's attack useless. Tomura, seeing an opportunity, prepared to strike again, but All Might's sudden arrival interrupted him.
All Might, a whirlwind of speed and power, burst onto the scene. He swiftly rescued Eraser Head, defeating the remaining villains in a flash. He then moved to protect Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru from Tomura and Nomu, ordering them to escape.
The students, carrying the injured Eraser Head, watched as the battle between All Might and the villains erupted.
"I had a bad feeling, so I tore myself away from my chat with the principal and came. I passed young Iida on my way and got a rough idea of what had happened. Good grief, it makes me angry. Thinking about how frightening it must have been for the children and how hard my juniors fought. But...that is why...I must proudly say...It's fine now. I am here."
All Might's initial attacks, a Carolina Smash and a powerful punch, were absorbed by Nomu, its monstrous strength proving to be a formidable challenge. All Might, however, was not easily deterred. He used a powerful reverse suplex, sending Nomu crashing to the ground.
As the dust settled, Izuku and the others saw that Kurogiri had used his warp gate to save Nomu. All Might, instead of burying Nomu in the sand, sent half of the monster's body through a portal while he still held Nomu in the suplex position. Taking advantage of the opening, Nomu grabbed onto All Might's weak point, while Kurogiri slowly dragged him into the warp gate. Izuku, seeing All Might's peril, rushed to help.
Kurogiri attempted to warp Izuku away, but Katsuki, arriving with explosive force, blasted the villain and pinned him to the ground. Shoto, using his ice quirk, froze Nomu's body, carefully avoiding All Might. The ice allowed All Might to break free from Nomu's grip. Eijiro, arriving on the scene, attempted a sneak attack on Tomura, but his efforts were thwarted.
"Kurogiri, our only exit and entrance. We're in a pinch," Tomura said, his voice laced with frustration.
"You careless bastard. You're just what I thought you'd be. Only certain parts of you can turn into a misty warp gate. The fog gate covered your actual body, right? If you were completely made of mist and physical attacks couldn't touch you, then you wouldn't have said that," Katsuki noticed, his voice laced with a mixture of anger and deduction. Kurogiri tried to move, but...
"Don't move. If I feel like you're moving suspiciously, then I'll blow you up," Katsuki threatened, pinning him down with his armor.
"His behavior isn't very hero-like," Kirishima commented from the background.
"In addition to capturing them, they're almost all uninjured. Kids these days are amazing. They make the League of Villains look bad," Tomura complimented the students on their efforts, a strange, twisted pride in his voice.
"Nomu," he whispered.
The students watched in horror as Nomu broke free from his icy prison, his frozen limbs regenerating.
"His quirk isn't shock absorption," All Might said, his voice filled with shock.
"I didn't say that was all he had. This is super-regeneration. Nomu has been modified to take you at 100%. He's a super-human sandbag," Tomura introduced the monster they created.
"Save Kurogiri," he ordered.
The monster attacked Katsuki, but the young hero was saved when the ground moved, pulling Katsuki and Kurogiri near a red-haired girl touching the ground. She calmly stood up, her head bleeding, but her eyes were locked on only one target, Tomura.
"Hina," Tomura whispered, a sinister smile appearing under his artificial hand.
He then launched an attack on Hina, but she jumped away as he used his quirk to slowly destroy the ground. Tomura then stood up and engaged Hina, and she tried her best to dodge his hand, knowing the trouble it could cause.
"Hina!!" Kirishima tried to help her, but was blocked by Kurogiri's wrap as he had already freed himself.
"Sorry, but I won't let you interfere with my master's game," he said, blocking the three of them.
Concurrently, All Might engaged Nomu in a ferocious fistfight. He went beyond one-hundred percent to vigorously bypass the limit of Nomu's endurance. They traded blows and battled across the U.S.J. at incredible speeds, creating shockwaves with each strike that kept anyone else from getting near them. After throwing Nomu onto the ground from high in the air, All Might landed and gave his final speech to the monster. He told Nomu to remember the words "Plus Ultra!" and delivered a dynamic smash to send the villain flying out of the U.S.J., defeated.
Upon this defeat, Tomura moved away from Hina and went near Kurogiri.
All Might had managed to defeat Nomu, but his Hero Form was at its limit. He was immobilized and tried to bluff in order to scare Tomura and Kurogiri away. Tomura panicked after witnessing Nomu's defeat, believing they had no chance to kill the Symbol of Peace.
However, Kurogiri noted the significant amount of damage to All Might and reassured his colleague that they could still kill All Might. They attacked, but Izuku broke his legs using One For All to intercept them in time. He prepared to use a smash on Kurogiri's weak point, but he warped Tomura's hand through his body near Izuku's face. Before he could use his Quirk to harm Izuku, Tomura was shot in the arm by a Pro Hero Snipe who arrived with Tenya Iida and other heroes.
Seeing as they were outnumbered, Tomura declared that the mission was officially over. He was shot several times by Snipe, and then Kurogiri tried to use his Quirk to help both of them escape.
After they escaped, Hina coughed blood and fell to her knees.
"Young Hina," All Might mouthed in panic.
"Hina," Kirishima approached her as she continued to cough. 'She must've held it in until this time,' he said in his mind.
Breathing heavily, Hina tried to stand up, but she was feeling dizzy. She couldn't feel her feet.
"The effects of the hypnosis haven't gone off yet," she whispered, and was about to fall when Kirishima placed her hand around his shoulder.
"You did amazing there, Hina," he complimented.
"Thanks, Kiri," she smiled at him.
