"Since you have a new classmate, we'll have an all-out battle," Aizawa announced, his voice a low rumble that echoed through the classroom. "Get into your costumes and proceed outside." He turned and left the room, leaving the students buzzing with anticipation.
After a while, Class 1-A was divided into seven groups, each with three members. The groups were as follows:
- Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, and Kyoka Jiro
- Izuku Midoriya, Denki Kaminari, and Yaoyorozu Momo
- Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, and Hanta Sero
- Mezo Shoji, Minoru Mineta, and Mina Ashido
- Toru Hagakure, Yuga Aoyama, and Fumikage Tokoyami
- Mashirao Ojiro, Rikido Sato, and Shoto Todoroki
- Tsuyu Asui, Koji Koda, and Hina Belserion"Since you are all in groups, I'll explain the rules," Aizawa said, his gaze sweeping over the class. He pulled out twenty-one bands, each bearing a number. "You are grouped in teams of three. From that, you'll choose a leader. The battle will start where you'll be eliminating enemies from the opposing teams. Each of you will wear a band that will determine your importance to the group." He handed each group three bands.
"Sir, may I ask what you mean by 'importance'?" Iida, the class representative, asked, his voice filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"Your leader will wear the band with the highest number, which will serve as scores for your enemies," Aizawa explained. "The goal is to take as many scores as possible in under forty minutes."
"Does that mean when you steal a score, but another team takes your band, they will get the credit of the scores your team had saved?" Mina asked, her voice filled with a touch of confusion.
"No," Aizawa replied, his voice firm. "Once you take a score from your enemy, it will remain yours until the battle is over. But those who are without bands will be out of the game."
A moment of silence settled over the room as the students looked at each other, their faces a mixture of excitement and apprehension.
"If that's all, proceed to your stations so we can start the battle in three minutes," Aizawa said, his voice a low rumble.
"So, who among us is the most suited to be a leader?" Tsuyu Asui asked, her voice a gentle croak as they walked towards their station.
"Can I?" Hina asked, her voice filled with a quiet confidence.
Asui looked at Koda for permission, and he nodded, his face a mask of calm. They handed Hina the band with five scores, and she used her quirk to turn it into a tight bracelet.
"Here," Asui said, handing her the band with one score.
Hina turned it into a bracelet, before turning to Koda. He handed her his band, and she fused it with his shirt's sleeve.
"I don't know most of your quirks, and I wish to know more so I will have an idea what our enemies and allies can do," Hina said, her gaze scanning the battlefield.
"My quirk lets me do anything that a frog can," Asui explained, her voice a gentle croak.
"Mine can control animals with my call," Koda said, a small bird landing on his hand.
"Do you have a plan on how we are going to take points?" Asui asked, her voice a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"The first choice would be to engage in a battle, but we might have a disadvantage," Hina said, her voice filled with a quiet determination.
"How abo-" Koda started, but before he could finish, a massive wave of ice swept over them, freezing them in place.
Shoto Todoroki, the boy with dual-colored hair, walked towards them, his two teammates, Mashirao Ojiro and Rikido Sato, flanking him.
