The Summer Of Callie

Chapter Two

As we make our way to the back of the house, we see most of the guys in the pool and a couple sitting in lawn chairs. Jack and Jack are sitting in lawn chairs while Cam, Nash, Hayes, Matt, Wesley, and Aaron are in a circle playing some game inside the pool. Taylor and Carter are over by some other people in Digi that are sitting on the grass a little ways away.

I walk up slowly and stop short. I grab Shawn's hand and pull him to face me. "Shawn, I'm scared."

"Why are you scared?" Shawn grabs both of my hands and places them in his.

"What if they don't like me now? People change over a year and a half. They could very well hate me now. I just want everyone to li-"

"Callie, it'll be okay. I'm right here with you. I won't let them be mean to you. They still love you, trust me."

Without another word, Shawn and I turned to start walking again. We were holding each other's hand. We made our way over to where Jack and Jack are so I can see them first. I casually walk up to them and sit by Johnson.

"Hey JJ."

"Hey Call- wait, you're here!" Johnson stood up and grabbed me. He pulled me into a tight hug a whispered in my ear, "I missed you so so much."

I just hug him tighter, "I missed you too." We pull away from each other so I can see Gilinsky.

"Hey Gilinsky."

"Hey Callie." He said coldly.

"Wow okay I missed you too." I couldn't help but roll my eyes and looked at him again.

"What? You're here. Yay! It's not like your dead or anything. Even though I wish your were." Jack said the last sentence under his breath and went on his phone. "We saw each other a while ago too. We don't have to make such a big deal about it." He rolls his eyes this time.

I had tears threatening to spill out but I held them in. "That 'while ago'," I said with quotation marks around while ago, "was a year ago." I turned around and walked over to the edge of the pool.

Right when I saw them, I had a huge smile on my face. They didn't seem to notice me yet so I snuck back into the house to put a bikini on. I put one on quickly then ran back outside. I went back to the pool and stood at the edge again. "Hi guys!"

They all stopped their game and turned to see me. "Callie!!!" They all said in unison.

"Hi!" I said again.

Wesley grabbed my hand and pulled me into the pool. I resurfaced and looked at him. "I knew you would do that so that's why I put a swim suit on." I gave him a hug then turned to Aaron. "Hi A-Aron." He laughed and gave me a hug.

"Hi Callie." I gave him a hug in return then pulled away to go to Matt.

"Hello Matty Boy." I gave him a hug and held him really tight.

"Hi bug." He grabbed me tighter than I did him which was squeezing the air out of me.

I tapped Matt on the shoulder, "Matt, I- can't- breath." He let go of me some but we were still in a hug.

"I'm sorry." He chuckled then let me go completely. "I just missed you a lot."

"I missed you too. Trust me. I missed all of you guys. Even-," I can't say it, "even Gilinsky." There I said it.

Something happened in Magcon that made me and Gilinsky hate each other. All of the guys know not to bring it up because I would have a break down. I will never speak of that event again.

"Wow that means you really missed us." Aaron stated.

I turn to Nash and smile at him. He gives me a big smile too. We hug each other and pull away. "Wow you even more beautiful this year." Nash looks at me and hugs me again. I couldn't help but blush.

"Thanks Hamilton. I missed you."

"Hey don't call me Hamilton." Nash points a finger at me. I help my hands up in defeat.

"Sorry Nash." I laugh and turn to Cam.

Cam, Hayes, and Shawn were my favorite guys because they were always there for me and would always stick up for me. They were like overprotective brothers or something. I do like all of them a little bit but I don't want them to find out. I've already seen Shawn so now I just have to hug Cam and Hayes.

I go over to Cam and instantly wrap my arms around him he wraps him arms around me and lifts me off on the pool floor. I wrap my legs around his torso and we stay like that for at least a minute. "I missed you so so much. I started counting down the days until Digi started so I could see you."

"I missed you so much too Cam."

"I just missed you so much." Cam pulled away so I could hug Hayes.

I turn to Hayes and instantly smiled. I walked over to him and wrapped my hands around his neck and put my legs around his stomach. I probably looked like a kuala and Hayes was a piece of bamboo. I didn't care though because I was with the people I love.

"I've missed you so much Hayes." I started having tears come to my eyes that were on the verge of coming out and I let them do just that. I let them roll down my cheeks.

"There wasn't a day I didn't think about you Callie."

"Damn guys, y'all are making my emotional." I turn to Nash to see him acting like he is wiping a tear away from his eye.

"Shut up Nash." Hayes slightly laughs and looks away from Nash.

I pull away from Hayes and climb off of him so I can stand by him. "I'm going to go inside and see if Aunt Susan needs my help."

"I'll go with you." Cam follows you out of the pool.

"I will too." Hayes follows Cam and me.
