Chapter 3 A New guy

Kiara's POV

After our introduction, Aakriti asked "How do you guys know each other?", Sriti being the most over excited answered "we all live in Rajasthan and our fathers are quite famous and hold power in short they are influential people also they all work for the King of Rajasthan and as we children are not allowed to show our faces to public and to not come in front of media thus no one knows us, but we children ourselves meet during parties thus we know each other form quite long and also kiara and I are best friends. We all knew about us coming to this college but all of us in the same room is a coincidence."

The conversation went on and on, we were all chatting among ourselves and decided to look around the campus at evening as now it is 12o'clock so we still had some time to rest and later we will head out at 4. I and Sriti took one of the double deck beds where I took the upper one and Sriti took the lower and Nitya and Aakriti took the other double deck bed where Aakriti was on top bed and Nitya took the lower bed. Whereas Nishtha decided to take the middle bed cum sofa.

While all of us headed towards taking our luggage I removed the rubber band to tie my hairs in a pony that's when Sriti noticed " Kiara where is your other Jhumka[Earring]?" as soon as she said this I touched my both the ears with my hands and felt jhumka only in one ear while the other was not there. I started panicking and told Sriti "Please help me in finding the other jhumka it must be in the room it is very important for me it was mumma's and it made me feel her presence. Please help me."

She patted my shoulder and reassured me "Don't worry Ki we will help you in finding, it must be here only somewhere." After that Sriti informed everyone and we all searched the entire room but we weren't able to find it I had tears in my eyes, Sriti hugged me and everyone consoled me after becoming a bit calm I accepted that I will never get this earring again and kept the other with a heavy heart safely in my bag.

I went to the balcony through the door which was between Nishtha's bed[Bed cum Sofa] and our deck, I called Karan and informed him about reaching safely and everyone, also told him to let papa and  maa know about this because my mood was already sour due to the earrings. As it was my first day in university and I was missing maa a lot that's why I wore her earrings but I lost them.

While all this thoughts were running in my mind I entered in the room and saw Sriti already in her dreams, Aakriti was reading a book, Nishtha scrolling her phone and Nitya was talking on call with someone. I decided to unpack my luggage and set my things, it took me around 1.5 hours to complete the task, then I decided to rest as there was still time and also I was quite tired with the travelling so I thought to sleep for 1.2 hours.

Aakriti woke me up as it was 3:30pm and told me to get ready as we had to visit campus, she requested me to wake Sriti up as she tried but Sriti being Sriti was in full sleep and all other were getting ready. I got down from my bed and after many attempts I finally woke Sriti up, then we started getting ready I just untied and comb my hair did not change my dress and rest everyone got ready and headed downstairs to look around the campus.

We were just moving out of the dorm when Sriti said "Let's call Aarav also so we all can explore campus together." We all look towards each other and nodded our heads. Sriti had a talk with Aarav till then we just had a chit chat among ourselves. After ending her call Sriti came towards us as she had went at a side to call Aarav, she informed us that "Aarav said for us to wait for 5-10 minutes here only." Then we all continued our normal chit chat.
