Chapter 7 New World

It has been another half of a year now meaning It's now one year since (Y/n) died and went to Heaven and half of a year since (Y/n) became a Seraphim.

(Y/n) was taking a walk around Heaven, being grateful for this new home and the afterlife he is living. He still remembers the day he came to Heaven, and when he first laid eyes on Sera.

(Y/n): "Another great day in Heaven!"

(Y/n): "My work here even though sometimes difficult I still take on more just to take off the pressure of the one I love."

After this little conversation with himself (Y/n) goes to the gates to cheek on St.Peter.

St.Peter: "Hey Seraphim (Y/n)!"

(Y/n): "You can just say my name if you want."

(Y/n): "How's everything?"

St.Peter: "Thank you for asking no problems at all. Just everything is the same."

St.Peter: "Which reminds me, hasn't it been one year since you came?"

(Y/n): "Yes, it has. I can still remember when I first saw the gates."

St.Peter: "You really looked lost by your reaction."

(Y/n): "Yes, well, it was a quick death I went through and...

As (Y/n) was still speaking, someone shouts his name.

Emily: "(Y/n)!"

Looking behind him, it was Emily who he had already considered her as his sister.

(Y/n): "Hey Emily! What's going on?"

Emily: "Nothing going on, but I wanted to see you (Y/n)."

(Y/n) and Emily share a hug just like how loving siblings would.

(Y/n): "I know she's busy today, but did you see your sister?"

Emily: "No, but I know Sera is missing you right now."

(Y/n): "I miss her too even though I see her every day."

Emily: "That's how love is (Y/n)."

(Y/n): "I guess it is."

Emily: "I'm really happy for you and Sera, especially her. She sometimes questioned why she hadn't found anyone to be with."

(Y/n): "Has she always been single?"

Emily: "Oh yeah, for the entire time she's been around."

(Y/n): "Then I'm very glad to be the first and hopefully the only one to be with her."

Emily: "I know that! I already see you two as a married couple!"

(Y/n): "It does feel like that."

(Y/n): "Well, I should be going now. There's not much going on right now, and I'm probably going to wait for Sera at home."

St.Peter: "See you around (Y/n)!"

Emily: "Bye (Y/n)!"

(Y/n) heads home to wait for his girlfriend to come while there he thinks of how the two's relationship had moved fast as they now live in the same house.

Making his way to their bedroom (Y/n) turns on the lamp instead of the lights, and as he looks at pictures by the dressers, he notices something.

His shadow

Sera has just came home and was curious if (Y/n) was here already.

Sera: "(Y/n) are you home?"

She walks to the hallway and reaches the bedroom's door, and for a quick second, she just remembered the dream she had, and she enters the room.

Sera: "(Y/n)?"

(Y/n): "Sera?"

The two have a stare at each other.

(Y/n) can only see Sera like a shadow because of the lights of the hallway, and Sera only sees (Y/n) like a shadow because of the bright lamp.

Stepping close to (Y/n) They both ask the same question.

Both: "Did you dream something like this?"

(Y/n): "I did, and it was the night before my death."

Sera: "The night I took you to that place, you fell asleep by me, and then I fell asleep as well."

(Y/n): "I don't know what this means?"

Sera: "Perhaps this could mean we were meant to be together?"

(Y/n): "Regardless, it's probably a good thing."

(Y/n): "As strange as it sounds, I'm kinda of glad that I died, now that I have you and what I am now."

Sera: "(Y/n) I do to feel the same way I can't imagine being with someone else."

(Y/n): "Yeah, exactly that."

(Y/n): "I'm sure there's one more thing to do now."

Sera: "I know what it is, my dear."

Sera gets close to (Y/n), and both hold on to each other's hand and have the most passionate kiss yet.

Fulfilling the two's dreams.
