"OKAY so my uniform skirt with my doc martens or converse?" my best friend Sam said on facetime showing me the two options of shoes. "Docs, I'm wearing Converse today and I don't want to match." I said putting my belt on and fixing my trousers. "Ughhh you never want to match anymore, it's not like we're wearing the exam same thing." "Sam we're literally wearing the exact same uniform just different bottoms plus it's cold out I think Docs fit the gloomy weather." I said putting my on black collar jacket and fixing my black tie. "True and we need to beat the dating allegations."

Sam and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember, We have similar styles except hers is more girly and feminine. We facetime every morning which I don't understand why considering I have to pick her up on the way to School since she doesn't have her car yet. People assume we're dating because I'm a lesbian and she's bisexual, I came out in middle School, and she came out in our freshman year of High School, so some people think we just started hooking up but in reality, it's strictly platonic. Me and her both had our "situations" with women.

I got startled as I heard aggressive knocks at my door. "ROWAN!!" my younger sister called out behind my bedroom door. "What?" I said opening the door quickly and see my sister, Rylie in her school uniform along with her book bag and cheer bag. "Can you hurry please? I wanna get to School on time." Rylie is my younger sister I'm older than her by two years it's odd seeing her rush me when she usually takes the longest to get ready for School. "I'm actually done getting ready" I said as I grabbed my phone "I'll see you in 5 Sam" I said as I hung up and grabbed my backpack and headed to the foyer area grabbing my keys and heading to the car.

Me and Rylie get into my all-black BMW. I start the car and see Rylie pulling out her mirror and making minor changes to her make up. "We have to stop and get Sam but she should be ready so we should get there on time" I say backing out of our home driveway and turning on the neighborhood street. "Why can't she just take the bus to School?" Rylie says on looking at herself on her phone camera. "The same reason you're scared to drive plus we pass up her house to get the West Lane" I said connecting my phone to the bluetooth and Rylie stayed silent.

I turned on one of my favorites spotify playlists as I drove to Sam's house. "Incoming call from "dad." My car voice bluetooth announced, I picked up my phone answering the call and hearing my dad's voice "Hello?" I turn the volume up a little, "Hou papa" Hey dad. I said focusing on the main road. "Hi papa!" Rylie said finally looking up from her phone. "Hey sweetpea, je suis vraiment contente que vous soyez ensemble en ce moment." Hey sweetpea, I'm actually glad you two are together right now. He said as I looked in confusion, whenever he says that he usually has something important he wants us to know about.

"I'm surprised she's riding with me too Dad but what's up?" Rylie usually rides with some of her cheerleading teammates, but I guess she wanted to ride with me this time. "We're going to dinner with the Washingtons Saturday night, I apologize for telling you girls on a such short notice, but this is really important for me, and I need you both to be there." I glance over at Rylie already knowing she had plans with the cheer squad. "I'm free Saturday so I can make." I said coming to a stop at a red light. "Oh, nous savons que vous ne l'avez pas fait" Oh, we know you didn't, Rylie says while grinning as I rolled my eyes and put my focus back on the road.

"Rylie, I expect you to be there too, it wasn't a question I'm telling you to be there or I'm taking your phone" my dad says. Rylie can be a bit of a brat sometimes, but I honestly blame my dad and mom because when Rylie was growing up she got everything she wanted. I did too but I was more on the humble side of things, if Rylie doesn't get her way, then it's no way. "Maman sera-t-elle là?" Will mom be there? I questioned. "Yes, she'll be there, luckily she doesn't have any surgeries to perform this weekend anyways, dress nicely and please be there on time." He said as I pulled into Sam's driveway. "D'accord papa, à bientôtJe t'aime" Okay dad, talk to you soon love you. Me and Rylie said as I put the car in park, "Alright, talk to girls soon love you both."

"I had a sleepover to go to Saturday night" Rylie said looking out the window with her arms crossed. "Sorry sis, but this dinner seems very important he even got mom to take off from the hospital." I said while Rylie stayed quiet, she was very butthurt about it, but she'll get over it.  I look over and see Sam walking quickly to the car and gets in the backseat. "Salut mesdames" Hey ladies. Sam said taking off her bag as I drove out of the neighborhood.
