They brushed themselves off and left through the portal. Simon had never been more grateful to and was about to rush back to his dorm and take a 3-hour long shower but before he could even take a step forward, Yuu latched onto his arm and started pulling him along to the headmaster's office.
"Pardon?! You're telling me you actually went to the Dwarf's mine in search of a magestone?!" Crowley exclaimed in shock.
"Uh...? Yes?" They all answered.
"I didn't expect that you'd seriously do it and never in my wildest dreams did I think you would actually return with magestone! Here I was, preparing your expulsion documents, aside from Mr. Sils." Crowley explained.
"Are you serious!? While we were fighin' some crazy monster for you, you were expelling us?!" Grim shouted, his fur bristling in anger.
"Monster...?" Crowley asked.
"Yeah. There was a monster, all right. A big, nasty one. It nearly killed us!" Ace said.
"Would you kindly relate this story in full?" Crowley asked them.

Ace, Deuce and Grim tried to explain everything that happened but they kept interrupting each other and talking over one other so Yuu took the lead and explained what happened.
"Hmmm. So, a mysterious monster was living in the mines, and the four of you worked together to destroy it, and then brought its magestone back to me?" Crowley folded his hands in his desk, eyeing his students.
"I don't know that I'd call it 'working together'." Ace said.
"It was more like we just happened to share the same goal at the same time..." Deuce chimed in.
"Oh, gracious..." Crowley suddenly began sobbing, his tears flowing from under his mask.
"What's this guy's deal?! Burstin' into tears in public?! At this age?!" Grim exclaimed, backing up from.
"In all the decades I've worked at this school... The day has finally come when the students of Night Raven College have joined hands together to defeat a common foe!" Crowley hit his desk with his fist in excitement and joy.
"Whoa! No! No way would I join hands with that guy!" Deuce pointed to Ace, who felt the same way, "Okay, one, there was no joining of hands. Gross. And two, exactly HOW old are you, headmage?" Ace asked.
"At this moment, I am moved beyond words. This incident has proven my hopes were justified. Yuu, my doubts are allayed! For you... You possess the talents of a Beastmaster!" Crowley exclaimed as he pointed to Yuu, who was standing behind the seated Ace and Deuce with Simon at his side.
"A... a beastmaster? What talents are those, exactly?" Yuu asked with furrowed brows.
Simon yawned, bored as nothing interesting was happening. He just wanted to go take a shower and then sleep for the rest of the day.
