A wise knight knows when to attack, when to defend, and when to leave a battle. However, an unfortunate knight is forced to attack when they can't, defend when they can't, and fight a battle they don't wish to fight. Alas! Life is a battle of the unprepared, so I wish that you may protect your heart, as it is your most glorious shield and sword.

A knight in constant battle may find themselves unable to distinguish between dawn and dusk.

A battle ultimately brings along the decay of all things and the degeneration of many souls. The heavy price of glory lays in the shadows of darkness and its battlefield is coloured in twilight.

Do you know which way the sword you're wielding is pointing? Is it towards your enemy, your people, or yourself?

The sharpest sword is not in your hands but in your heart. Be sure to take good care of it and not let the wrong people wield it. The heart is a great weapon, and I hope you will be its caring and knowledgeable master. Just like a sword, it will need to be taken care of regularly and sharpened when required.

Do you know what you are fighting for? Do you know what it is that you're protecting? Do you know what it is that you are defending? If one cannot answer these questions, then they shall watch their soul wither, their swords and shields shatter, and their path crumble amidst the decay of life.

We may never fully grasp the glory of light. But it is enough, to be able to fight for the glimpse of light at the end of our lives. After all, knights wear their twilight armour with pride, for the mere hope that the orange glow of the sky will turn brighter instead of darker.

Knights go into battle knowing they might never see the full glory of light, but it is enough for them, to be able to fight for that glimpse of twilight, bringing forth either the most magnificent of sunrise or the shadows of decay.

Even though they may never experience true glory, Knights march on towards twilight to a world of either hope or decay. They may never know if the light they see will rise or fall, but it is enough to see what little light there is on the battlefield.

Just because the sun has slept, does not mean your willpower must sleep as well. Our hearts do not have to follow the course of nature, and that is our greatest strength.

Life is a battle in which we are all warriors, and wise are those who understand that not all battles are fought with others. The greatest glory often comes from defeating the shadows that withers the soul.

The loneliest knight sheds their silver tears amidst the darkness, and becomes the moon for the depraved souls weeping with regrets. Soon, the night will fall and the dawn shall rise with the golden tears of determination.

Lucky are those who can pick their own battles. Most are shoved unprepared into multiple battles, wielding neither sword nor shield to protect themselves. However, regardless of each circumstance, each battle is filled with its own unique monsters, and all must stay vigilant despite the blessings they may have.

A true warrior does not need a sword or a shield to fight, protect or defend their cause,  their own people, or their hearts.

Great knights are those who know when to attack and when to defend. The best knights are those who can prevent a battle in the first place.

In every battle, we march on forwards to the decadent twilight, unknowing if we are walking towards the glory of light, or the depths of shadows.

It is a painful thing to fight for a cause, to wield a double edged sword that seeks glory through decay. Alas! In a battle, there can only be one winner, and none are saints.

Perhaps what follows the end of twilight is darkness, but most on the battlefield will not come to see the sun rise or fall. So why should it matter to them if the sun will rise or fall? The only thing left to do is to keep fighting underneath the golden glory of remnant rays. We do not fight knowing if the sun will rise. We fight with faith, holding on to the minuscule light we see. Even so, should the beautiful dawn turn to dusk, and the golden sun sleep for the silver moon - we will see it through the end, despite knowing that the sun will fall. Twilight exists within our hearts, and neither life's horrors nor nature's greatest miracle shall diminish the glory of faith in fighting and protecting for the world. Should the world sleep in the withering darkness and decay - let us wear our twilight armour and fight for our light to rise once again.

A sword should not be held carelessly. A warrior who protects can turn into a monster who destroys.

It is important to know the difference between protecting and fighting.

We often pretend that swinging the sword the wrong way again and again will turn us into a better fighter and not hurt us or others in the process. What a painful mistake that is...

Your willpower is your greatest source of strength, and it does not only come from you, but from others around you too. The best warriors do not fight alone, just as how the sun does not rise alone.

One of life's most important lesson is knowing that there are those who find glory amidst the withering and decay of all things. Not everyone finds glory in light.

A knight's sword is not pure. Coloured with twilight, the end of each strike brings along either the rising sun and the fall of night, or the rising darkness and the fall of light. With each battle, the sound of both glory and death echoes amidst the fight between night and day.

We must always remember the fallen, for what is the significance of a battle if we do not cherish and appreciate those who have fought by our sides and protected us? A battle is empty and meaningless without love and grief. No warrior should stand alone in the field, ignorant of all that has passed and the consequences of each loss and victory.

A guardian does not stand alone. The people they guide and the people they protect stand with them, creating a splendid shield that protects all.

Many seek to protect themselves from demons, without realising that they themselves have become the demons they sought to hunt. Yes, it is important to fight and win battles, but it is more important to avoid becoming the monster you so dearly wished to kill.

The hands of paladins may be stained with blood and darkness, but their armours are painted in twilight's glory. Filled with golden and black blood, their twilight souls stand vigil to the dead and fight for the ones that are alive.

Not all fights have to be won. It is also important to know when to give up. Most battles do not end in one go, and giving up may lead to new opportunities.

Perhaps wisdom is knowing what's worth fighting for, and what's worth the sacrifice or not. It is crucial to know when to let go, when to hold on, know what to fight for, and which battle to retreat from.

The greatest battle is fought within oneself, just like how the sky fights between itself from dawn to dusk.
