Yuya tried not to look suspicious as he stood in the school locker hall the next morning, trying to build up the courage to sneak a letter into Gongenzaka's locker. There were too many people around! What if someone saw him? What if someone worked out what he was trying to do, and told Gon? What if he rejected him?
Yuri walked past Yuya, pausing and looking at the letter in the tomato-head's hands. He grinned and said, "It's already Tuesday! You have until Friday to tell him! Better get to it, Yuya!~"
"Yuri!" Yuya groaned, his face going red. "C'mon! Why are you doing this to me?"
Yuri's grin got bigger. "Cuz you're so much fun to mess with, Yuya!~" he said. "I honestly hope you don't tell him before the deadline! Then I can embarrass you! That's always fun!~"
"Yuri! Shushit!" Yuya snapped, holding the letter close to his chest. "Back off!" He glared at his Fusion counterpart for a few moments, before turning away and walking towards Gongenzaka's locker. The tomato-head stood in front of it for a few moments, trying to steel his nerves. He could feel Yuri's eyes on him, watching intently.
After a few moments of trying to gather his courage, Yuya groaned. "I can't do it!" he groaned. He bolted, running away from Gongenzaka's locker still clutching the letter he'd wanted to leave inside.
Yuri watched Yuya flee, a smirk of amusement and satisfaction on his face. Oh, this was going to be fun!
