Her body and mind were returning to a state of infancy, as though something was unwinding the clock, pulling her back through time. But for what purpose? Why was this happening?

The following days passed in a haze. Her mind was no longer hers. She couldn't form sentences, couldn't remember how to use utensils. Her thoughts, once sharp and defined, now swirled in a fog of primal instinct and confusion. She had the overwhelming urge to cry out, but when she opened her mouth, the only sounds that came out were soft, infantile gurgles.
