RINGGG RINGGG RIN-
"Okay! I'm awake! Holy Aphrodite.."
A boy rolled out of bed, quickly shutting off his alarm. He had teal dyed hair, which was currently extremely messy. He was wearing his version of pyjamas, a purple t-shirt and grey sweatpants.
He stumbled over to his closet, taking his time grabbing his outfit. An MCR t-shirt, his binder, a red studded belt, black skinny ripped jeans, off-brand knee-high Converse, and various pieces of kandi. He grabbed his tail, clipping it onto the back of his pants.
That might seem weird to most people, but he wasn't most people. Most people weren't trans therians. He was a British Columbian Wolf therian, to be exact.
He walked into the bathroom, looking in the mirror. "Damn bitch, you live like this..?" He mumbled to himself, before brushing out his hair. He teased and shaped his hair, before brushing his teeth and shoving his makeup into his bookbag, which he left in the bathroom. He threw on his outfit, leaving the bathroom.
He jogged downstairs, seeing his mother.
"Hey, Mum. What's for breakfast?"
She didn't bother glancing up from her phone before responding. "Whatever you want, kid. I'm too busy right now." She stood up and walked up the stairs, still not looking up from her phone.
He caught a glimpse of what she was looking at. Facebook reels. "It's Jace, not kid... you're such a great mother..." He mumbled at her.
He knew better than to talk back or be sarcastic towards her, especially because he was hanging out with his friends later that day. They were also therians.
He walked into the kitchen and grabbed a poptart that was in the toaster. Probably his sister's.
As if on cue, he heard a shout behind him. "Hey! That's mine!"
"Mine now, nerd. Shouldn't you be getting ready for school?" Jace took a bite out of the poptart, tossing the other one to her.
"I get to take school off today!" She shouted in a very bragging tone.
Jace walked over, looking in the fridge. He grabbed his water bottle, shoving it in his bag pocket. "You do realise how obvious it is that you have no friends, right?"
"I have friends!! You're the one with no friends!!" She yelled, earning a hand over her mouth immediately.
Jace shushed her. "Mum's vodka isn't in the fridge. You have to be quiet, you know how she gets."
His little sister quieted down, looking a bit scared.
"Also, I'm literally hanging out with my friends later today, sooo."
He laughed and ran out the door as she yelled various things such as 'I'm the favourite!' and 'You're a meanie!'
He ran quickly to the bus stop. He hadn't realized how late it got and he hoped he could make it to the bus in time.
He didn't.

So, a re-write. That's happening now, I guess! My writing style has changed a lot, so I wanted to re-write this. If you've seen the updates on the original Therian Love or my announcements, you know that I'm full on doing this now. Short first chapter, but y'know.
Have a good morning/afternoon/night! Stay safe and healthy! <3
