Jesus wants us to love each other because Jesus loves us. That love that Jesus has to die for us, and wants us to have that same forgiving love for each other. Realistically Jesus could have not died for our sin, but through his love he decided to die for our sins in order to forgive us of our sins. Yes without that legal right of dying for our sins, Jesus wouldn't be able to forgive us. Through his love for us he decided to die for us, to live what we experienced as humans, and with the knowledge and experiences on how it feels to be tempted with sin. Not only that entire world hated him, spit on him, attacked him, and killed him for no reason. He still went through his plan to pay the price for our sins which our wages of sin in death. Jesus loved so much he died in my place, he died everyone's place. In reality if we don't accept the free gift of salvation and accept Jesus as our savior then Jesus has the legal right to pay us in death. Yes death because a life without Jesus is a pointless existence. In John 13:34-35 (KJV21) states 34 "A new commandment I give unto you: that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples: if ye have love one for another."
We must love each other because that's how Jesus loves us, he loves the sinner the moment you accept Jesus in your life he will work his magic in you. Remember Rome wasn't build in a day and you as an individual takes time to mold you how Jesus wants to be but in his time. Only when Jesus deems it right for you to be molded to your full potential. In Mathew 18:21-23 (KJV21) 21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?"
22 And Jesus said unto him, "I say not unto thee, until seven times, but until seventy times seven.
23 "Therefore is the Kingdom of Heaven likened unto a certain king who would settle accounts with his servants." This verse has two meanings first one is obvious he wants you to forgive people unlimited amount of times. The second meaning is if Jesus will judge you on how you judge others as said in Mathew 7:1-2 (KJV21) 7 "Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." So if Jesus says don't judge others because you'll be judged on how you judge others. In order to avoid this is always forgiven everyone!! So Jesus can forgive you because you were and is a forgiven person alive on earth. So when you see Jesus he will forgive you and save you! Remember Jesus is just, and Jesus will give justice. So please brothers and sisters, love everyone and spread the love of Jesus.
