Kenneth was in his office, and gaya ng nakagawian niya since Jastine left, bago magsimula sa trabaho, tititigan muna niya ang maliit na papel na nakuha niya sa loob ng fortune cookie na gawa ni Jastine.

'See your mini version after five months, daddy! I love you! '

He smiled softly; he could feel his eyes water again. 'See you after four months, baby,' he whispered. Yes, dahil, according to Dr. Sebastian, today is his 5th month at check-up na nito bukas.

"Hi sir Kenneth, good morning po. Nandito po si sir Josiah sa labas, papapasukin ko na po ba?" Angie informed him via intercom.

His eyes widened as he put the small paper in his drawer. He stood up and opened the door by himself, agad niyang pinapasok si Josiah.

"Bro," he greeted and hugged him tight.

Josiah let go of the hug first; he smiled at him, and they just paused for a while, "Sorry, bro." sabi nito.

"No, no, no, bro. Hindi ko tatanggapin resignation mo. We can talk about it." agad niyang sabi.

Joshua's eyebrows curled up. "Yow, what are you talking about? Sino nagsabing mag-resign ako?" tanong nito.

He cleared his throat. "Oh, I thought you're...anyway, how's life? Where have you been?" he asked instead.

"Yun, I'm sorry kasi medyo matagal din akong nawala. Tapos nagpaalam pa ako ng leave through email lang. I'm sorry bro ha, medyo magulo isip ko that time," he said. "I spent my time in the orphanage where I grew up, you know, sorting things out."

Kenneth nodded, and they both sat down on his office couch. "Uhm, did you talk to Tito and Tita na? Your parents?" he asked.

"Hmm, yeah. I have no plans on reuniting with them, nakakahiya naman kay Pao and Jas, pero I must admit...nasabik din talaga ako sa magulang, sa pamilya. Sorry about Jas nga pala bro, I heard the news through Syl. I'm sorry I was the reason he left; I must've hurt him so bad," he heaved.

He softly chuckled. "No, bro, not your fault," he replied, trying not to let him feel sorry, "By the way, kumusta kayo ni Pao?" he asked.

"Casual. Nag-memessage siya sakin madalas, and lately nagreply ako. Nagu-guilty parin ako, feeling ko dahil sakin gumulo sila," he sighs.

"Huy! Ano ka ba, don't think of it that way. You just wanted the truth; hindi mo naman ginusto 'to," he said, trying to lessen his baggage.

With Josiah's request, hindi muna sinabi ni Kenneth kay Paolo na nakabalik na ito ng SPS, binalikan siya ni Josiah sa office niya after office hours dahil nagkayayaan sila ng two bottles. They were about to leave when Angie spoke through the intercom.

"Sir Kenneth, nandito po sa labas si sir Paolo, papasukin ko na po dyan. Thank you po!" she said.

Naiwan namang nagkakatinginan lang si Kenneth at Josiah, then a few moments after a shocked face of Paolo greeted them as he went in.

"Siah?!" He was so surprised to see him there.

"Bro..." he whispered.

Paolo shut the door quietly. "So ano? Kayo nalang dalawa? Hindi niyo talaga sasabihin na nagkita na kayo ulit?" he said in a sulking tone.
