FIRST DAY of my university life.
ITHA'S POV
"Mummaaa...Papaaaa I am going. why u guys are not rep- " then the reality hit me. How can you forget Itha you are living alone now. Get used to it. No matter how many times I say this, but I forget I am not living with my parents now. It was my decision to live alone and study here but now I feel lonelier. I was always dependent on my parents, they used to take care of me but now I have no one. It is difficult to leave everything and start new life in different country. You should wash your laundry, cook food yourself, cleaning everything. It exhausts me but again it was my own decision. At least once in a day I call out for my parents forgetting they are not here with me now. I feel sad, I cry, but now this is my life, and I am starting to accept it and getting used to it.
"Fine. Let's goo Itha" I said to myself and before heading out I joined my hands Infront of my favorite god, Ganesha.
IN COLLEGE
As I reached my college, I started looking for my class. I was walking here and there not knowing where my class is and then I saw a girl standing Infront of the notice board. I approached her.
"Hey, are you looking for this class?" I asked her
"Hey, ya I am looking for this class. And they mentioned the floor number of the classes, so I was just checking." The girl said
"Oh... actually I didn't know that. Can we look for it together?" I asked politely
"Yeah, sure. I am Bella. Bella Hernandez. I am from California." She said forwarding her hand
"Nice to meet you, Bella. I am Itha. I am from India." I introduced myself and shook her hand.
We found our class after a long search and ya we both are sitting together. I made a lot of friends eventually and I am glad that they also match same vibe as mine.
We took a tour of our college, and I must say this is so beautiful than what I saw in images.
"So, Bella where do u stay?" I asked her
"actually, I am looking for an apartment but I am not finding one I am living in hotel from few days." She said
"Why don't you stay with me? We can share the expenses and can live together too." I spoke
"Oh, that's so sweet. But are u sure? you don't have any problem, right? I don't want to trouble you or something." She asked with uncertainty.
"oh, don't worry Bella I am 100% sure. That too I am living alone so sometimes I feel lonely so I asked you"
"Then okayyy Itha I am very much happy. We can enjoy our time." She said
after that I went to my apartment. Bella told me she will shift tomorrow. as soon as I reached my apartment the first thing i did was lay on the couch.
