CHICAGO
MORNING
The sound of my alarm clock brought me back from my sleep. I started to wriggle and stretch my arms. I got up and did my morning routine. After I changed into gym shorts I went to gym room; I don't usually wear t-shirt while working out.
After I spent 1 hour working out, I took a quick shower and went to downstairs where veena aunty is already standing near the dining table ready to serve me my breakfast.
"Good morning, Beta" veena aunty greeted me
"Good morning aunty."i smiled.
"I have made aloo parathas today and here is your black coffee." She served me and handed me a cup of black coffee.
After finishing my breakfast I said her "Aunty as you know that I am going to Chicago for an important meeting; I may stay there for 1 week or may be more than that so you can take rest.
She smiled and said "Okay, beta". Just then we heard
"dadiiiiii." 3 year old girl, kiara came running to veena aunty.
"Arey, slowly kiara u will get hurt." Venna aunty said worriedly looking at her over excited 3 year old grand daughter.
"No dadi I wont get hurt don't worry." She said showing her bunny teeth.
"Morning, Rey.." she said hugging me. I took her in my arms and said in baby voice "morning, bacha did u sleep well?" to which she nodded enthusiastically.
"Okay I am getting late for my flight I will see you soon take care of yourself and Dadi, okay?" I said to her to which her smile faded, and tears welled up in her eyes
"Where are you going. Stay. Don't go." she said
"it's important to go bacha I will come back as soon as possible, and I will bring you big teddy bear. Hmm?"
"Big teddy bear? Promise?" she said forwarding her pinky finger to me
"I promise bacha" I said and connected my pinky finger with hers .
So here is the story basically Veena aunty stays in my penthouse only. Her son and daughter in law died in car accident. Kiara was with veena aunty that time so thankfully she is alive. One day I saw veena aunty carrying kiara in her arms near my office; asking she can work in this office and she told what had happened to her family. so I took her and kiara to my penthouse and gave them a room to stay. But veena aunty said she cant live in my penthouse free so she said in return of her stay she will cook and do house chores. So I accepted.
From past 2 years veena aunty and Kiara is living with me. So, I have a great bond with Kiara. I think because of Kiara i am little bit happy. Meeting people doing work, busy schedule, travel, everything drives me crazy but once I come home and spending time with Kiara I feel relax. Someone has said correctly children always finds a way to make us happy even when we are in no mood.

as I got ready, I called my driver and told him to take me to the airport. it was half an hour drive from my penthouse. I was engrossed in my work that i didn't even realize we already reached the airport.
