You had officially stayed in this place for a few days. You had gotten to know the people around you better, hanging out with Hina, Junko, Leon, and Sakura. Oh, Makoto also asked to hang out with you. He gave you a kitten hair clip, that you put in your hair a few hours later.

Besides that, life here was a lot less eventful than you thought it would be.

A loud banging sound interrupted your thoughts, causing you to look up from where you sat on the bed. Letting out a groan you stood up from the plush bed, walking over to the door and twisting the door open.

As you opened the door, you found Taka standing in front of you with his arms open like he was about to pull you into a hug. "A fantastic morning, isn't it!?" You looked at Taka with wide eyes, confused about what was making him so excited all of a sudden.

"Now then, off you'll pardon the interruption." He finally let his arms fall, his hand curling in a fist and pressing against his throat as he cleared it. "No matter how intensely the stormy seas may batter me, I will not fall as long as my feet are firmly planted! You agree, right?"

You blinked at the guy in front of you, barely understanding him but nodding your head either way. "And if you can't do it alone, just find someone to support you, and you can support them back!" Oh god, is this his way of confessing to you? "That's how you overcome any storm!"

After staring at him blankly for a few seconds he started to talk again, his voice now more calm. "I was thinking about it last night, and... I decided we all need to really come together. And that's when I realized... Every morning from now on, after the morning announcement, everyone should have breakfast together! And now is the beginning of that fateful day! Please head to the dining hall at your earliest convenience!"

He then abruptly started to walk away, not waiting for a response as his voice grew smaller. "That's all for now! I have to go let everyone else know the good news!" You watch him walk next door, knocking on Junko's door now.

Shaking off your surprise, you walked out of your room, closing the door and locking it behind you. You heard Taka's yelling as you walked away, towards the cafeteria.

A few people were already in the dining hall, more arriving behind you once you sat down. "Okay, looks like everyone's here. So then, let's begin our very first "breakfast meeting"! Everyone, thank you for making time in your busy schedules to come together." You all looked at Taka, who was standing with his hands on the table.

Your brows furrowed, tilting your head slightly as you looked at him. "Busy schedule...?" Leon let out a scoff at your words, gesturing his head toward you slightly. "I didn't make time for shit. You dragged me here..."

Taka ignored you two, closing his eyes as he raised his voice further. "I know I already mentioned this earlier, but... In order to get out of here, it is essential that we all cooperate with each other. And the first step is this breakfast meeting, to allow us to become friends and build trust! So from now on, let's all meet here in the dining hall every morning after the morning announcement! Now then, let's eat!"

Behind you, you could hear Toko mumbling, turning around to see her flustered face. "You w-want me to eat breakfast with other p-people? I've never done that b-before. I'm not sure..." You look at her with wide eyes and furrowed brows. "You've never eaten with other people?" How rich are these kids...?
