Rainbow
—————We had been following Sapphire and Olive for a few hours now. We were out of that snow biome by now, and we were now in some kind of grassy biome with a bunch of flowers everywhere.
Despite all of this, I could only properly focus on one thing, my legs hurt. "How much further? My legs hurt!" I cried, hoping to get an answer that we were almost there.
"Don't worry, we're almost there. Suns almost up, so there won't be anymore mobs." Sapphire said, turning his head to look at me.
"Can we learn more about the 'mobs' when we get to the place we're going?" Light asked, seeming pretty eager to learn about them.
"Yep! Gonna tell you all about the world, y'know, since you don't seem to have memories." Olive said, in his usual cheery tone.
There was a few more minutes of walking, before we finally reached what I assumed to be the twos house. "Here we are!" Olive shouted, throwing his hands up in the air.
It was made of wood, kind of like a treehouse, but without being an actual, well, tree. "Is it a tree?" Light asked, and Sapphire chuckled.
"Nah, it is made of wood though. Didn't really need any fancy stuff, considering it's just us staying here." He said, leading us to the front door.
He opened the door, and we all walked in, me and Light taking in the new environment. First thing I saw was a table with two chairs, which, no surprise, was made of wood.
I also saw a fireplace made of some type of blue fire, the color of Sapphire. It somehow.. wasn't burning the house? Something I'll have to ask.
In front of the fireplace was a couch, with a blue and green carpet laid out in front of it. Sapphire and Olive made their way over to the couch, beckoning us to sit on it.
We sat down, looking up at the two. Olive was the first to speak. "Alright, you two, we're gonna tell you all about this world!" Olive grinned, and turned to Sapphire.
"The main types of, well, beings in this world are Steves. Each of them having their own unique abilities. I'm a Blue Steve, we can use ice and water. We also can do some magic but it's.. iffy." Sapphire said, now turning to Olive.
"I'm a Green Steve, we can control plants and life, and are typically very peaceful. I was more adventurous than most, and decided to live with Sapphire." He said, wrapping his arm around Sapphire, and he gave a smile in response.
"The other types are Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, and Pink. Reds are typically more.. aggressive. They're physically the strongest, but they, uh, aren't the brightest." Sapphire said, clearing his throat.
"The Oranges are all about, well, being smart. They're the smartest Steve's, and are able to make some of the greatest inventions the world has ever seen."
Light seemed to be absorbing the information almost instantaneously, not seeming to get bored at all. Me, however, was getting very bored. I still was listening.. kind of. But it was just boring. Sapphire continued talking.
"The Yellows are all about energy, they're the strongest in power. Not much I can say other than they've made a lot of kingdoms, villages, outposts.. you name it."
Olive cleared his throat, and began to speak. "The Purples basically can teleport, and do magic. Magic kind of came from them, though other types of Steve's can still learn it, like the blues."
"Finally, the Pinks basically have mind abilities. They can see your mind, make you see things, stuff like that. I don't really understand it too well." Olive yawned, and looked at Sapphire.
"That's all they need to know, right?" He asked. Sapphire nodded, and looked back at as. Though before he could speak, I had a question.
"So are you two like friends or-" Olive smiled, though I'm not sure why. "Ehh- you'll understand when you're older." Sapphire said, letting out a chuckle.
I rolled my eyes, looking to Light. He'd been pretty silent the whole time, simply observing and taking in all the new information. He was excited, it seemed.
"By the way, are you guys like- brothers, or something?" Olive asked, referring to us. I was confused, and so was Light. "What's a brother?" He asked, tilting his head a bit.
"A brother is like- someone who's related to you." Sapphire responded. Light seemed to get a little less confused. "Hm.. then yeah, I guess we're brothers? We woke up in the same lab." I said. Maybe we were made by the same people? If we were made by anyone at all, that is.
"Well, since we were out all night, you two might be tired. Might wanna get some rest." Olive said, pointing to an opened door. Me and Light nodded at the same time, getting off the couch.
Olive lead us into the room, which had a few gray beds. "We prepared this incase we got any guests. Travelers are a bit common nowadays." He said. "If you need anything, just come and get either of us." He walked out the room, and closed the door.
I instantly hopped on one of the beds, wanting to just go to sleep after the boring lesson. Light slowly got onto one of the beds, and laid down.
"Do you think we'll figure out why we were in that cave?" I asked. Light lifted his head. "I don't know. I hope we do." I nodded, and rested my head on the pillow. "Night, or- morning, whatever time it is." I said, and Light chuckled. "Night."

Nightmare
————My arms were crossed behind my back, watching the flames engulf the small town. I had come across it while walking, and decided that it would be my testing ground for multiple chromatic energies at once.
I let out a soft chuckle, and turned my head slightly to the side. He had landed behind me, and was looking at the town below. "I believe I found the ones you spoke of. The ones you sensed." He said. "Good. Did they have the same energy signatures as them?" He nodded.
"Make sure there aren't any survivors down there." I pointed to the town below. "Seems my evening won't be as boring after all." I said, a grin forming on my face.
