"Bill has been livin' with y'all for a day?! And you didn't even bother to tell lil' ol' me?" Gideon asked. "I thought we saw the last of that demon!"
"Well, it's not that simple! In fact, it wasn't out fault!" Mabel replied, more defensive. "This massive axolotl just kinda appeared and handed him to us! They said something about teaching him a lesson?"
"Oh, so you're like the punishment?" Gideon pointed out.
Mabel thought for a moment. "No, we're more like the therapists."
"Therapy? What would a demon need therapy for?"
"I don't know, but it seems like there's more below the surface. He could just be a misunderstood bad guy?" Mabel suggested.
"Mabel, he tried to kill us. I'd just keep an eye on him." He paused and laughed, "Pun intended, I guess."
"Ugh, now you sound like Dipper!"
Gideon's usual playful smile fell. "Mabel, I'm serious. He can't be trustworthy, not after what he did." He then asked, "Hey, where is he now?"
"Oh! Last time I checked, he and Soos were fixing some lightbulbs in the shack. Bill's actually been pretty chill so far!" Mabel mentioned enthusiastically.
"He could also be faking. He's a demon, Mabel, not a puppy."

"Ow, ow, ow!" Bill mumbled. A lightbulb had just fallen onto his head after he partially unscrewed it. "Sooossssss.... Why is this so difficult? And why is pain actually painful?!"
"Dude, don't ask me. Maybe you couldn't feel it before because you were less mortal?" Soos shrugged. "I live like this every day; you'll get used to it too."
"UGHHH! I HATE THIS! I HATE BEING MORTALLLLL!!"
Soos frowned, "Chill, dude, like most of the multiverse is mortal, isn't it?"
"Hah, you'd be surprised, but not exactly. I've seen lots of things in my life." Bill boasted.
"What are you, 200 years old? I dunno man."
Cipher's eye narrowed. "I'm offended."
"You're not giving me much to work with here, dude."
"Try getting your meat computer to process this: One trillion and twelve." He muttered.
Soos just stared, shocked, a rare expression. "You're like older than dirt."
"Yeah, that's the point, bone-sack."
"Say, you must've seen some pretty cool things back in your day. Mind sharing some stories?" Soos inquired.
Bill thought for a moment. Sure, he'd seen lots of things, he had lots to share. "Well, have you seen the Eye of Providence on the dollar bill? Who do you think that is? Meeeeee!"
"Hey, pointy! How can I get on a dollar too, eh?" Stanley asked from the doorway. He stood there in his boxers and slippers, his usual outfit.
"Silence, old man! I'm not telling you shit!"
"Language! Better pick up a new vocabulary, dude." Soos interupted.
Bill turned angrily towards the handyman. "Don't you dare tell me what to do, question mark! I could end your existence in seconds!"
"Except you can't, you're powerless, Bill." Another voice pointed out. Ford's voice.
"I'll find a way to get them back, and then I'll have my revenge! All of you will suffer!"
"Yeah right, you scalene shit-"
"LANGUAGE!" Soos bellowed. "All of you need to calm down, dudes."
"Dang, I've never seen Soos this mad, or mad like... ever. What did y'all do?" Wendy asked
Before anyone could answer, Bill dramatically threw his hands into the air and fled the room. He burst into the nearest bathroom. Staring into the mirror, fuming, he nearly screamed.
"It's all so unfair! Why? I don't need therapy, I don't need friends, I don't need anyone or anything!" He muttered coldly. "Damn you, Axolotl... I'll find a way to break your curse... I'LL FIND A FUCKING WAY!"
And as he screeched those last words, small blue flames and ash surrounded him, but they seared his flesh(?). He yelped and stared at the swirling ash, backing away.
"What the.... fire? MY fire?" He studied the flames. "Huh, stupid salamander. That curse is no match for my anger."
I will find a way... and they'll all suffer.
