Kashiro and Alayna walked through the dense forest, their hearts pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation.

In Kashiro's arms, their newborn son, Kairo, slept peacefully, As they approached the village elders' hut, the ancient structure seemed to hum with an energy that both comforted and unnerved them.

Elder Nyoka, with her wise eyes and gentle demeanor, was the first to greet them.

"Ahhh, you've given birth to the child

"Ahhh, you've given birth to the child. Congratulations, Alayna," she said, her voice filled with warmth.

Alayna bowed deeply. "Thank you, Elder Nyoka. But there's an issue..."

Elder Tembo, the keeper of knowledge, leaned forward, his curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

Kashiro carefully turned Kairo around, revealing a dragon symbol etched into the baby's back

Kashiro carefully turned Kairo around, revealing a dragon symbol etched into the baby's back.

The elders' eyes widened in unison, and they all stood up from their seats, a mix of awe and concern on their faces.

"Is it bad?" Kashiro asked, his voice trembling slightly.

Tembo shook his head, his expression one of astonishment. "No, it's astonishing. That is the symbol of the bearer of the dragon Kirishin, or a dragon spirit. Your son is the king of beasts and spirits."

The parents gasped, their minds racing to comprehend the magnitude of Tembo's words.

"What do you mean, king of beasts and spirits?" Alayna asked, her voice tinged with fear and confusion.

Nyoka sighed, her gaze softening as she looked at the baby. "As the bearer of the dragon mark, your son has... inhuman capabilities. Enhanced physical attributes, an affinity for all creatures, and the ability to shift into those creatures."

Kashiro's eyes widened in realization. "Wait, when he was born, a light flashed, and he became a lion, sort of."

Nyoka nodded. "The Lion Spirit resides within him. As soon as your son makes peace with that spirit, he must make peace with the dragon and become the mightiest creature in all the lands. It's his destiny as an infant, something that the gods themselves cannot alter."
