Kio and Ritso stopped, panting heavily after searching the entire cave for their friends. Ritso collapsed, catching his breath as he sighed.
"Come on, we have to find them," Kio urged.
"Kio, we seriously searched this entire cave! We can't find them! They're not here! And you may have all the stamina in the world, but I don't!" Ritso exclaimed, frustration and exhaustion evident in his voice.
Kio sighed and sat next to Ritso. "Then where could they be?"
Ritso shrugged, his fear palpable. "I don't know. All I know is I'm terrified. You may not be, but I am!"
Kio turned to him, her eyes softening. "You seriously think I'm not scared?"
"You can turn into a giant crocodile, and I have two knives. We aren't the same!" Ritso retorted.
Kio looked down, her voice trembling slightly. "Ritso, I am scared."

"I'm scared we may never find our friends again. I was scared when I thought you were going to die to those spiders and snakes, and maybe those rocks when the cave caved in!" Kio admitted, her voice breaking.
Ritso's eyes widened, his cheeks turning red. "You were worried about me?"
Kio nodded slowly. "I'm not used to being alone, so when the cave started to cave in, I... I thought you were going to die." Ritso looked down, feeling a mix of emotions. Kio scooted closer to him. "Sorry if that's corny."
"Nah," Ritso said, a small smile forming on his lips.
The two laughed, and Ritso turned to her, his heart pounding. Suddenly, Kio leaned in and kissed him deeply.
They made out for a while before breaking away, both breathless. "That was nice," Ritso said, still catching his breath.
"Thanks," Kio replied, laughing.
Suddenly, the part of the cave they were in began to cave in. They managed to jump into the middle of the cave just in time as the rest of the pathways collapsed.
Kio's eyes widened as thousands of giant spiders and snakes crawled down from the cave's walls.
"We're outnumbered," Kio said, her voice steady despite the fear in her eyes.
Ritso gulped, his fear evident. Kio grabbed his hand and smirked at him. Ritso nodded, drawing his twin daggers.
Kio's eyes glowed as she transformed into a giant crocodile, snarling at the attackers.
The spiders and snakes lunged, and the heroes lunged as well, Meanwhile, Panthie carried King's unconscious body in his mouth, running alongside Kaze.
The two looked back and saw a horde of goblins in hot pursuit, led by the towering Titan goblin.
"We're not gonna be able to run forever, mate!" Panthie panted.
Kaze's sharp eyes spotted a hole up ahead. "Up!" he shouted, quickly scaling the wall.
Panthie tossed King's body up to Kaze and began to crawl up the wall himself. Suddenly, an arrow pierced through his leg. Panthie roared in pain, starting to skid down.
