TAYLORS POV:
Today we were rehearsing for the eras tour North American leg, and at the moment we were practicing the transition into folklore, which obviously started with me singing cardigan on top of the folklore cabin.

And then it happened, before I knew it was mid-air, falling towards the ground. Ouch. It all hurts. My left ankle and wrist all the way up to my shoulder is throbbing in pain. I can't move.

"Taylor? Taylor.. are you okay? Can you hear me?" I hear tree asks, I couldn't respond, it hurt to much. I tried to wiggle my head up and down, to let her know I was at least conscious.

"Oh honey, let's get you to the hospital." I hear someone, I think tree, announce.

The hospital? No. I hated it there, everything about it sucks. I didn't want to go.

"No." I manage to whimper, moving my head slightly.

"You're going. You can hardly move Tay." Tree firmly says.

-

Soon later I'm sitting in a hospital, with what felt like thousands of pieces of medical equipment attached to every single part of my body. I hate it here.

"Hey Taylor. I called Travis, I thought you might want him." Tree says, sitting on the edge of my bed.

I want to thank her, but I can hardly move. The best I can do is give a small nod, so that's what I did.

"The doctors are running some tests, okay?" She adds, I nod.

"Get some rest tay." She smiles, tucking me in the blanket a little bit, I smile.

After just a minute or two, I fell asleep, into a very deep sleep. I usually struggle to fall asleep, but I guess the injuries just knocked me out.

I wake up much later, to the sound of Travis sitting down beside me. I felt better too, I think the pain meds probably kicked in.

"Hey babygirl." She whispers, pressing a kiss into my forehead.

"Hi." I managed to get out, my voice hoarse from not talking or singing for hours,

"How are you feeling?" He asks, moving a piece of hair out of my face.

"Bad. Arm and foot hurt." I squeak, looking at my wrist area, which looks pretty bruised up.

"Yeah, the doctors did some X-rays, you fractured your wrist and your foot." Travis frowns.

"What? The tour? I.. I don't wanna.." I begin, Travis interrupts me.

"The tour will be fine. You have time to partially recover before October, you'll be okay." He assures me.

"They're gonna put a cast on your wrist soon, and one of those boots for your ankle too." He replies, pointing to my foot.

"A cast?" I question, a cast sounds serious, I don't want people to actually worry about me.

"Yup. A cast, and you'll be fine. It'll help you recover." He smiles.

A moment later a doctor comes into the small room, with a tray of stuff to apply a cast.

"Hello Taylor, Travis" she smiles, sitting down in the chair near me.

She explains the process of how the cast works, how it heals, and a bunch of other information that I didn't pay attention to.

"Alrighty, now for the fun part. What color do you want?" She asks, showing a display with tons of color options.

I usually would've chosen purple since it's my favorite color, but I knew I'd probably still be wearing it while on tour, so I went with a light grey color, so it matched all of the eras I preformed.

"Light grey?" I smiled, she nodded.

After she applied the cast, I looked at my wrist, it felt weird. I couldn't move it at all, but I guess that's what helps it heal.

"I'll go get you the discharge papers" the doctor mentions, standing up and leaving, I nodded leaning back into the pillows.

-

After I arrive back home, Travis helps me get situated on the couch. I felt bad that I was practically forcing him to wait on me hand and foot, but I couldn't help it.

I couldn't do anything for myself, I couldn't make my own food, couldn't take care of myself, I couldn't even use the bathroom without  some assistance from travis, and I felt like such a burden to ask for this amount of help.

It's only been about 24hrs since the fall, but the doctors said it would take about a month for me fully recover, well enough to start to practice for the tour again.

But in the meantime I struggled with everything, but I was grateful to have Travis with me. He's done nothing but help me with basic things.

"Trav?" I question, leaning my foot up against the ottoman.

"What's up baby? You still feeling meh?" He chuckles, standing up.

"Yeah. Could you help me shower or take a bath? I feel so gross and grimy." I ask, taking my hoodie off.

"Of course babygirl, let's go." He pauses. "Let me carry you." He smiles.

Usually for my quick travels, I would just lean onto Travis, and waddle to the bathroom, kitchen or wherever I was trying to go. We haven't battled stairs yet.

"Here we go." He smiles, setting me on the bathroom counter as he undresses. Once he stripped out of his clothes, he turned on the warm water.

"Here, let me help you." He smiled as he noticed I very much struggled to take off my clothes and my ankle boot. Luckily, the cast I got for my wrist was completely waterproof, so we didn't need to worry about that

He helped me into the bathtub, and the warm water felt great against my hurt bones.

Without me even asking him, I notice his hands beginning to reach for my shampoo bottle, squirting a small pump in his hand and very gently massages it in to my scalp.

"Oh Travis." I sigh. "That feels so good. Thank for doing that." I smile, leaning back.

"It's the least I can do." He smiles. "Did you really think I'd watch you suffer and make you wash your own hair with a broken wrist?" He chuckles.

Next her conditions my hair and helps me wash my body. It felt nice to take a bath, I've just felt so blah from doing nothing yesterday and today.

After, he helped me out of the tub, dried me off and helped me change into another set of pajamas, specially my cat pajamas.

He even helped me apply lotion, do my skincare, and little things like that, he was so sweet, I don't know what I would do without him being in my life.

"Ready for sleep?" He asks, I nod. Although I've been watching tv shows or movies all day long, I'm still exhausted.

"Bed or couch?" He asks, I pointed to our room. I've slept on the couch last night, it was so much easier to move to other rooms. It was like the central area of the house. I was near a bathroom, the kitchen, and the dining room too.

"Got it." He smiled, scooping me up, being cautious around my ankle and wrist.

He helped me settle into bed, tucking the covers around me. It was perfect. He was perfect. This was everything I could ask for.

"I love you Travis." I smile. "Thank you for taking care of me today."

"I love you more, and my pleasure." He smiles, pressing a kiss into my temple.
