TRAVIS POV:
I wake up to Taylor laying on top of me, the scent of her lavender shampoo lingered in the air."Oh good morning babygirl." I smiled, tilting my head up to give her a kiss.
"Hi." She smiled shyly, she clearly had no intentions of moving, it was obvious she wanted my attention.
"What's up with you today?" I chuckled, she usually wasn't like this. I mean, I certainly wasn't complaining, but it was a little out of the ordinary for our usual morning routine.
"Nothing." She smirked back, burying her face in the blankets, then I heard her stomach growl a slightly.
"You hungry, sweet girl?" I questioned, she nodded.
"C'mere babygirl, let's go eat." I smiled as I scooped her into my arms. Luckily she wasn't very difficult to carry, so with ease I was able to drag her downstairs.
"Wait I need to go pee first." She chuckled as she dragged me out of bed with her.
"You're making me come to the bathroom with you now?" I laughed as I waited for her to do her business.
"Yes, I am. Don't even think of leaving me while I wash my hands either." She chuckled as she squirted some lavender scented soap into the palms of her hands.
After we arrived downstairs, after she begged me to carry her downstairs as if she was incapable of using her own two legs.
"Can you make me pancakes?" She requested, I nodded, grabbing a mixing bowl.
I finished combining all the dry ingredients together, Taylor clinging on to me like a koala the entire time.
"Baby, step back for a sec, yeah? I don't wanna spill the food." I gently said, I didn't want her to get mad at me.
"Oh, okay." She mumbled, stepping back. She took a seat at the kitchen island, clearly trying to regain my attention.
I finished making the pancakes, and plated them for her. Once I set the plate in front of her she pointed to the fridge, as if I was forgetting something important.
"What?" I chuckled lightly, a little confused.
"Syrup. I want syrup." She demanded.
I chuckled as I went over to maple syrup, which was too sweet for me personally, but it's one of her favorite pancake topics.
"There ya go baby." I smiled as I drizzled some over her small stack of pancakes.
"Anything else I can get for you my love?" I asked, putting the syrup back in the fridge, she shook her head, seeming withdrawn from the conversation.
"Babygirl? Are you alright? You seemed fine a minute ago." I asked, then realized I probably fucked up when I asked her to move away while I prepared food.
"Nothing. It's fine." She countered quickly, starting at the plate of food.
"You don't have to stay with me while I eat." She mumbled, making it clear she was mad with me.
"Baby, I'm sorry, I just didn't want to hurt you." I explained, because I truly didn't mean to hurt her feelings.
"No, it's okay. You can go do.. whatever." She said, taking a few bites of the pancakes.
"No I won't. I'm gonna stay with you because I want to be with you." I protested, and saw a little smile appear on her face.
"Really?" She questioned, I nodded.
"Well obviously." I paused. "I want to be with you baby." I chuckled, still feeling bad that she made the assumption I wanted to be away from her.
"Oh, well after we eat can we cuddle and watch a show?" She suggested, I nodded.
After we ate our breakfast and I took care of the dishes, we decided to go back upstairs.
"Carry me? Please?" She begged, stomping her feet playfully.
"Of course, princess." I replied, picking her up like the way you'd carry a toddler.
"Thanks for the lift." She joked as I carefully tossed her onto the bed.
"Mkay, what should we watch?" She asks as she scrolled through the catalog of movies and new tv shows.
"Hm, what about that?" I suggested, pointing to a new show that I've heard was good.
"Nah." She replied, continuing to scroll down further.
"Oh what about this?" I said, pointing to an older series that neither of us had watched yet.
"No." She rejected my suggestion again.
"Well then what do you want to watch?" I chuckled already knowing the answers.
"Hm, greys anatomy, or friends?" She smiled, I jokingly rolled my eyes, knowing those are basically the only shows she would watch.
"Greys good?" I questioned. I had basically watched all of the friends series with Taylor, and we're now about halfway through greys anatomy.
"That's perfect." She laughed, pressing the resume button on the remote as she rested her head on my chest.
"I love you." I smiled, pressing a kiss into her temple.
"I love you more." She responded, snuggling into the blankets.
